hypercriticals[ The video opens to what looks an awful lot like a rather cheap ceiling brightened by a harsh light off to the side or some such. Leaning just slightly over and into the picture is what appears to be... a book cover? It's a good foot up from the camera and only partially obscuring the ceiling.
There isn't enough to make out a title given the proximity, though. ]
Has anyone else made an earnest attempt to reconcile Nippon's calendar with that of their own world? It's taken me some time, but I believe I have accomplished as much and [ -- the unseen speaker pauses. There's one, two, three, four digits falling against some wooden surface, thoughtful -- ] if I am correct, that would make tomorrow my birthday.
[ She doesn't sound exactly pleased about that fact, but then, why should she? Given when she had been rescued from, where she'd been going, and furthermore -- ]
My siblings and I have never celebrated a birthday apart, not even since we left the Greenwood.
