So I have a request, and it's really going to sound strange and probably a little (lot?) questionable to people but here's the deal.

I need to kiss you. Like, 10 of you, to be kind of exact. Because if I don't then I'm not going to drop dead, per se, but I'm not going to do much more than stare blankly at my ceiling and I don't want that for me. I like moving.

I mean, consent is important and all, so...

Any takers?

[While the phrase is probably unnecessary, it doesn't stop how familiarity it falls from her mouth. Little things of home that remind her of where she's from are important to her, after all. Even if she has to make her own dashi now.]

Do you have a bed, or a futon? Either's fine, but you might want to nap after, like I said.

His place was neat, well-kept and very minimalist as he wasn't a materialistic person by any means. Thankfully this place had been furnished when he arrived so there was a bed here; one of the few places that had an actual bed and not a futon. It wasn't big or anything but that was fine with him, and Xiao had no problems mentioning it. ]

I do. So there isn't any worry of me not having a place to sleep once you're finished.

[ Even if the times he DID sleep was wracked with nightmares and awful memories so it wasn't a common occurrence. ]

Hm. If you don't mind the question, are you willing to divulge just what type of being you are?

Oh, um. I'm a yuki-onna. New, though. I was pretty normal until my second year of high school.

[Except for the excessively tall part, that is.] I'd have to change into it anyway, so I don't have a problem admitting it. Is it OK if I do it now?

I don't think I get much of a choice when it comes to genetics. Kind of a surprise for everyone involved, really. My mom is full human, and my dad had it as a recessive gene or something. But I don't mind it too much now. It was a lot worse when it first happened.

[With Xiao's back turned, Kokoro sucked in her breath and let it out in a sigh through her nose. The results were almost quick, but still enough for him to catch the pink bleeding out of her hair until it was white, the drop in temperature in the room. It was thankfully brief as she brought it back into herself to avoid making him uncomfortably cold.

When it was all done, she followed him to bed. Her skin was overly pale with a blue undertone. Her lips and fingernails were the same corpse-blue color, and her eyes were the same greenish-blue a glacier was. ]
