I was out for a jog, just trying to find a good route, y'know? And I think I went out too far and... I FOUND MY GIRL!


[Prompto looked and sounded excited and he's quick to move forward and, after a little fiddling, he's set his magi-comm down on a wall and hurried back to pose all cool like with a big, yellow and equally cool looking chocobo!

Until Prompto hurries forward again, grabs up the device and comes back to lean into the neck of his chocobo and a less cool and more cheerful scene fills the screen!]


This is Birb guys! And yeah, I know, silly name right? But she liked it!


[Birb lets out a loud kweh and ruffles her feathers, clearly agreeing with Prompto's words. What had originally been a joke was a name she'd liked a lot and now wouldn't answer to anything else. After the fluff she began grooming Prompto's hair, much to his delight and embarrassment. He gives a half-hearted attempt to bat her away but, in the end, lets her mess his hair up as she will.]


That's it! Just wanted to show her off! She's pretty, right?

[Sure, they had trains, but so did Midgar and that didn't mean they didn't use chocobos going from sector to sector.]

[He doesn't know the guy, but that doesn't mean much! He could have been from somewhere in his world and they'd just never crossed paths. Maybe Noct knew him?

He laughed then and attempted to reach a hand up and fix his hair.]

Weird though, having two places with chocobos...

[REALLY weird, if he thought about it. Which was hard to do with a chocobo messing with your hair. Prompto heaves a sigh. Doing as told and resigning himself to his fate.]

It's a little weird. I met someone else who has similar magic to the kind in my world -if she comes by and recognizes your friend there, then I'll be really weirded out.

[he says it in good humor, though, because for as weird as it is, it's kind of cool, too. Then again, Zack always tries to see the brighter side]

no, this one was different. Much bigger, and while it was mainly yellow like yours there were also some other colors at some of the ends.

It belonged to another, someone who isn't here anymore, actually.

You....remind me of him a little. Both of you were little balls of sunshine. I think you two would have gotten along well.

Though there was quite a difference. You're actually small and much slimmer, and you're about photography. He was way bigger, super beefy, and was more about comedy and entertainment.
