[That makes him laugh softly as his tail moves up behind him to wrap around Ouyang's slim waist.]

(( The expression he wears softens and nestles a bit closer. A few short months ago he couldn't imagine being touched by anyone and now he finds comfort in affection from his two lovers. Ouyang lings a moment before untangling himself and getting into the bath, holding out a hand for Runyu to follow. ))

Thank you for fighting with me today.

[Taking his hand, he steps into the water and happily sinks in. There's almost a shimmering effect that happens when the dragon settles into the pool, as if he's embracing his element. Sliding over to Ouyang, he presses a kiss to his cheek.]

It was my honor to do so.

(( Ouyang sinks deeply into the water, letting the heat work the beginnings of fatigue from his muscles. It was a good workout and a rare challenge to spar with someone of Runyu's caliber. Though not a warrior by his standards, he certainly would be a good one by mortal standards. ))

It has been many years since I've met my match in training.

(( And yet, he smiles, eyes bright. ))

[He chuckles softly at that, shifting so he can press his back to Ouyang's chest. All the better to be able to lean back into his arms and rest on his shoulder for a bit before they truly clean up.]

I like being able to see that side of you. It was wonderful.

(( He sighs in contentment and brings his arms around Runyu in a loose embrace. ))

Before I came here, being a warrior was all I had.

Now you're getting to learn who you are. What you want. It's the same for me actually.

[He appreciates it greatly. To be able to learn who he really is and what he wants. To find how he can get it without destruction.]

(( Ouyang hums in agreement. It's interesting living a life for himself, pursuing his own desires. His arms tighten slightly around Runyu and he tilts his head to press a soft kiss to his hair. ))

I like who you are.

I'm starting to like who I am too. It's an odd feeling, I'll admit. But, I like what I see of me when I look through the eyes of those I love.

(( That brings a subtle smile to his face. Perhaps he's a little biased being that he's in love with Runyu. ))

I see someone who is loving and patient.

I like being able to see that.

[Runyu stretches so he can lean back to kiss his cheek.]

Let me know when you want to wash me and I'll move.

Just another moment.

(( He's savoring the heat of the water washing away any fatigue before it sets in. And, also, just being close to Runyu. It's something he didn't think he would ever enjoy and, honestly, never wanted until he met the dragon. ))

Take your time. I'm in no rush.

[He never is with these two lovers. He can spend lazy days with them and love how it feels. There's no need for them to try to be more than who they are. It's beautiful and makes him so happy.]

I love these moments with you.

(( That's a sentiment Ouyang shares. When he first arrived, he tried to keep busy. Even now he prefers to do something, but it's easier for him to relax with his lovers. And after losing his memory twice, he's kept close to home unless with one of them. Needless to say, his armor has been polished to a mirror shine. That's his go-to activity when in the house with little else to do.

He sighs softly, trailing his fingers in meaningless patterns over Runyu's skin. He enjoyed this sort of intimacy, just them with nothing in the way, with water and the silver scale that hangs over Ouyang's heart the only things between them. ))

I could never imagine enjoying this before I met you.

You were only a warrior and a follower then. Neither a bad thing really. But now I get to see even more of you. You're a warrior but you're also good-hearted and passionate. You see the world differently from others which makes you special.

[And he values that view. It means he can see the world differently as well. Through the eyes of someone who wasn't raised in riches, who wasn't trained to be nobility. It's valuable, yes. But it also means he can open his heart more as he atones for his past.

But then he has to be a little playful too.]

The fact that you are also incredibly handsome is just a bonus.

(( Good-hearted isn't a way Ouyang would describe himself. But, he's always been his harshest critic. He was full of anger, nursing a life-long grudge until the right (or perhaps wrong) moment made his fate inevitable. Still, he regrets what he did to Esen. He was the one who was good-hearted.

Ouyang's cheeks color slightly and he can't help from giving his lover a playful splash.))

Come, let's get you clean.

[Runyu laughs at the splash, lifting a hand belatedly to protect himself before leaning forward finally. Pushing his hair back from his face, he makes sure to get to a better position for his love.]

Well if you insist. I do suppose it's time.

(( Ah, how he likes the sound of Runyu's laughter. He'll have to make a note to be more playful to draw that sound out more often.

He wastes no time in running his fingers through the long fall of Runyu's hair, gathering it away from his back to ensure he has it all before letting it go. Ouyang cups his hands to collect some water to wet Runyu's hair from tip to top, careful not to simply dump it over his head and get it in his eyes. Once that's done, he picks the scented soap and lathers it in his hands before carding his fingers through Runyu's hair to work it in. ))

[Tilting his head back, Runyu makes it easier for those hands to wet his hair, closing his eyes at how nice those hands feel when they start washing the long strands. As much as he enjoys the sex with his lovers, he has to admit that moments like this are actually his favorite. Intimate times where they can be close without expectation. It's beautiful and makes him feel closer to them than ever.]

Your hands feel so nice...

(( Ouyang is careful not to tug his hair, carefully massaging the soap into his scalp. He takes a moment to brush his fingers along Runyu's horns. He's been curious about them, but hesitant to be pushy about it. He and Runyu share a certain dislike of their own bodies and he didn't want to do anything to make that feeling flare up in his lover. ))

When I was a slave, it was part of my duty to help the Prince of Henan bathe.

I think that your hands feel so good not from training as a slave but because of our affection for each other.

[It feels so special because it's Ouyang doing it. And that is what matters the most to him in that moment. He lets out a soft hum, smiling gently.]

And you understand me in so many ways others never will.

(( Ouyang hums thoughtfully, tracing his fingers a moment more along those horns before returning his full attention to Runyu's hair and scalp. He savors the feel of the dragon's hair in his hands, knowing that his touch is wanted and not simply expected as another task to be accomplished. In moments like this, it was easy for Ouyang to forget he ever disliked touch.

Like Runyu, he found this sort of intimacy comfortable. Perhaps even preferable to sexual intimacy. Maybe he's still getting used to that. He smiled to himself as he began to rinse the lather from Runyu's hair. They did have much in common: their dislike of their bodies, their love for someone they could never have. But they also understood the importance of companionship and respect. ))

I once thought I would never find the sort of understanding we share. My Lord Esen, for all his good intentions, treated me like a favored pet. We were never equals.

I will never treat you like a pet unless it is in play. And even then only if I can know you will only think of it as such. You are a man and deserve to be treated that way.

[Runyu smiles, somewhat to himself since his love is behind him. But, he does let his fingers trail over Ouyang's leg since it's there within reach. Just to continue to maintain contact with him.]

Is my hair tangled in my horns?

Only a little. I will comb it for you.

(( His voice is softer when it's just the two of them, gentler. Just like his fingers working through his beloved's hair. He sighs quietly at Runyu's touch, happy for the continued contact. He's utterly content to be with him doing such a domestic thing. He'll have to remember to offer to wash Mingye's hair for him next time they spar or hunt.

After a silent moment, Ouyang finally murmurs: ))

I do not care if anyone else sees me that way as long as you and Mingye do.

[Trusting Ouyang completely to take care of his hair, he doesn't question the matter further. Instead, he remains relaxed until he hears that comment. His hand even stills against his leg.]
