Uhm, does anyone here know anything about taking care of a cat?

Or... someone who turned into a cat?

Paimon really doesn't know what to do! And Paimon can't just ask him what he needs, because all he can do is meow!

[The camera shifts to a pretty little cat, looking very disgruntled as it sits on what some people might recognize as Aether's signature white and gold scarf.]

Well, first see if he's hungry. Then maybe see if he's thirsty (water!). And if if's neither of those things, see if he needs to go outside.

Paimon tried offering him food, but he didn't seem too interested in it... so maybe it was the wrong kind? But why would he need to go outside?

[There's a meow behind her that almost sounds like a "NO" -- because he knows what Kokoro means.]

cats in my experience are very intuitive and don't really like to be fussed unless they make the effort to come to you first.

otherwise it's probably good to put some food out for them, maybe some sort of meat mixed with rice and water on the side. avoid giving them milk unless you know for sure it's body could handle it, i've seen a lot of animals have a bad reaction to cow's milk.

you also mentioned that this is someone turned into a cat... i wouldn't know how that feels, but probably be patient with them. they don't look too happy there.

No, we didn't get a cat! Aether turned into a cat!

[Camera pointed at the cat again -- who certainly seems to share Aether's hair and eye color. He makes an attempt at saying Itto's name, but all that comes out is a weird meow.]

He was like this when he woke up this morning! Paimon thought it would have worn off by now, but it's been hours, and he's still a cat!

[oh boy. He leans in close when the camera turns to kitty traveler] Whoa. How does something like that even happen? Is it a curse? Like, from one of those ayakashi?

He's definitely not happy. He didn't even touch the chicken Paimon gave him earlier, but he hasn't eaten all day! So Paimon's worried he might not be feeling well.

[He doesn't mean to make her worry, he's just sulking because this is fairly miserable. A sad meow echoes after her.]

Paimon doesn't remember him having any issues with food when he just had cat ears, but do you think it's different now that he's completely a cat?

Paimon has no idea! But he was home all day yesterday, and Paimon didn't see any weird ayakashi in the house. And Paimon didn't turn into a cat, either! He just woke up like this.

[Someone had a very, very nice dream, apparently, to have triggered Kizuna of this level in his sleep.]

[But more importantly, kitty!Aether peers down at the camera, his mannerisms not entirely cat-like. Unable to talk, he just huffs before sitting down -- defeated.]

That's right! This isn't just any old cat-- it's Aether! He woke up like this!

[New fear: Randomly turning into a cat in one's sleep.]

He didn't want Paimon to worry anyone in case it wore off right away, but it's been hours now and he's still a cat!

yeah, i can't say i have any issues with food when i have cat ears and stuff.

hearing that meow, it sounds like he just might be upset... it's understandable that he would be, it's not easy adjusting to a different lifestyle all of a sudden. in fact, it's a pain in the ass.

i'm sure he'll get hungry eventually, and when that happens he'll let you know.

But-- you said you've had cat ears before! Have you ever had something like this happen?

not really, i haven't gone into a full on transformation here or anything. i think i've just had cat ears and a tail, but nothing like what your friend is going though.

i've just been through some stuff at home, so i kind of understand how he might be feeling. it's good that he has someone like you close by, just keep smiling and be there for him.

[Honestly, the real struggle here is that he looks very soft and fluffy, but doesn't seem to want to be petted!! How dare.]

[But with the camera angled a certain way, it's easier to see that Paimon herself is rather small -- really, not that much bigger than Nyaether.]

What's your name? Paimon is-- Paimon! And this is Aether... but maybe introducing him while he's still a cat is a little weird.

There was the KSJ last month... even I sprouted canine ears for a bit. Maybe this is something like that? Just temporary?

Paimon hasn't seen him groom himself at all, so hairballs probably aren't a concern. He is shedding, though...

But his diet is what Paimon was most worried about! Paimon tried offering him some chicken earlier, and he wouldn't touch it. So he hasn't eaten all day.

But he didn't eat anything weird, and he was home with Paimon all day yesterday, so it couldn't have been an ayakashi -- otherwise Paimon would be a cat, too!
