[Being able to freely talk to people and not fear them leaving him has been such a relief. It's enough to make him brave enough to make another video post. This time for fun rather than to ask for help due to being lost.]

Hi everyone. [He smiles and gives a wave.]

I've been here a few weeks now and I was noticing that there's a lot of people here who love plants or use plants a lot in their work. I was wondering there's any plants that people would really like to see more of. Or that they miss maybe.

[Just because it'll be nice to talk about them. Oh and while he's thinking about it...]

I did have have another question. What musical instruments would you recommend someone to try? For learning to play them, I mean. I'd like to keep learning more of them and there are so many out there.

How did you make it?

In haste! (( The quip comes with a grin. )) I cut a piece of bamboo and poked a few holes in it. My musically inclined partner in crime helped adjust it so it sounds right now.

I had no idea you could create one that quickly with bamboo. I bought a bamboo instrument here but I just assumed it would take awhile. [He breaks into a smile.]

May I hear you play it?

The process is mostly to preserve the bamboo. Lacquer is common. That's probably what you have. Chenqing was a lacquered bamboo flute. I don't know what happened to it. I presume it was destroyed.

(( That said, Wei Wuxian lifts his current flute to his lips and begins to play. ))

I don't play much anymore. I suppose I could here, though.

I don't know yet where I'll find one but I hope to. I'd truly love to learn to play this.

I'm free most days. I work in the evenings, but if we end up close to Yoshiwara, it will be fine.

We might have a better chance finding a shop here. There are a lot of artists and musicians in this part of town.

Yoshiwara is the entertainment district. It's full of theaters and the like. A lot of artists live and work here. I used to live there until very recently.
