[ Tseng's first night in Nippon did not go at all as he initially thought after leaving the orientation provided to him upon his arrival. He spent the first few hours walking around Tokyo, trying to get the layout of the land, take in as much as he possibly could before retiring to his assigned housing for the night... He didn't expect to run into Rufus Shinra. And that chance encounter changed everything.

They spent the night together, getting reacquainted, relaxing, and Rufus telling him everything he has yet to experience in their own world. The things Rufus told him sounded positively ridiculous, but he knows Rufus wouldn't lie to him... It was overwhelming and will likely take Tseng a while to process.

He wakes mid-morning, pulling on the pajama pants he was given the night before and a t-shirt, and leaves Rufus asleep before heading downstairs to bring some coffee and breakfast back up to their room. He quietly descends the stairs and sees the Turks. ]

Reno. Rude.

[ He offers a small smile and a nod as he passes by, disappearing into the kitchen. ]

[ Once he's back upstairs and settled on the bed, he pulls out his magi-comm, studying the device before turning it on. It's certainly no smartphone, but it will suffice. ]

I'm looking for a few individuals and was told this is the best and quickest way possible to get their attention. [ He looks over at Rufus, who is off-screen, briefly ] If you know Zack Fair or Aerith Gainsborough, please tell them I'm looking for them and would love to talk.

You don't think the people of Nippon, including other refugees like ourselves, are desperate for pornography? [ He can't help but laugh, a soft puff of air ] I hope you'll be safe. Like I said, I don't want to share you with others.

[ Tseng adjusts himself against the headboard, shifting so he has an arm around Rufus. Again, he thinks he could get used to mornings like this. Breakfast with Rufus and lounging in bed is far preferable to worrying about things that needed to be done, rushing off to the office before getting in the helicopter for another mission.

He's still not sure what life in Nippon will look like, though. He only knows what information he was given at his orientation, nothing more. ]

We didn't have an opportunity to discuss your life in Nippon last night. You told me about the dick festival, but nothing more.

Are you jealous? [Rufus can't help but tease lightly. He loves how possessive Tseng could be at times, something that Rufus never thought that he would love as much as he does.

He relaxes against Tseng, looking at him with a smile. He could get used to mornings like this- the last couple of years his morning routine with Tseng was hardly as pleasant but now they can relax in bed before having to rush off or have to deal with things.]

Mostly I've been helping Reno with his business for now until I can find something I want to do. I make him do the paperwork but I've been teaching him how to make strategic plans, budget, and all that fun stuff.

[Rufus spent more time learning how to run a business than actually running one in reality it turned out so those lessons might as well be useful for something.]

I haven't decided what I want to do myself yet, it's not something I've ever had to think about before.

[ With a single finger, Tseng tilts Rufus's chin upward to capture his lips in a soft kiss. He's not sure how long it will take for him to get used to this life, a life not as a Turk and his President but as Tseng and Rufus, but he's thankful that Rufus and his Turks are here to make the transition a bit easier.

When he pulls away from Rufus, he leaves barely an inch between their lips. He decides to focus on the fact that Rufus agreed (with certain conditions) to be a model for Reno instead of the fact that he has no job or plan for income. That's something they can discuss once Tseng has a better hold on his new life. ]

And if I am jealous?

[Rufus smiles as Tseng kisses, letting Tseng tilt his chin up. He's always loved how overprotective Tseng is, far and above the call of duty.

He doesn't pull away either as their lips part, amused with Tseng's reaction. He knows how possessive Tseng can get, it's one of the things he loves. It's only Tseng that Rufus allows to own any part of him, something he entrusted to Tseng many years ago.]

You're just going to have to remind me who I belong to.

You're mine, Rufus. You've been mine for years and that extends to this world as well. You'll have to reconsider your offer to Reno should he reach that amount in profits

[ Tseng kisses Rufus once more before pulling away from him and relaxing back against the headboard of the bed. ]

I'm looking forward to your tour of the town later this afternoon. It's not often you and I get to do things like this.

[Rufus laughs softly, moving to lay against Tseng's chest once Tseng settles down against the headboard of the bed. He loves being able to relax in bed in the morning, a luxury that they don't have often.

He could get used to this.]

We can have lunch, and get you the things that you need. There are a ton of sex stores too, we should visit one.

[ As Rufus moves to lay against his chest, Tseng wraps an arm around him, enjoying the opportunity they rarely had in Midgar or Junon. Most days, Tseng was up with the sun, leaving Rufus in bed to get ready for what was usually a long day.

It's difficult for him, relaxing like this instead of being up and getting busy. It will be a huge adjustment, but one he thinks he'll be able to get used to. ]

A sex store? [ Tseng has never once set foot in a sex store and honestly has no plans to. He sighs. ] Why do we need to visit a sex store?

Because we can visit a sex store, that's why.

[Despite living a life of obscene wealth, Rufus had little freedom to do the things he actually wanted to or even to experience new things.

Now that things had changed, he wanted to experience things just because he could, making the most out life this new freedom.]

But if you don't want to go in with me, I can get a surprise for us.

[ Well, he had no plans to set foot in a sex store, but it's hard to say no to Rufus. For years, he has done everything asked of him, usually without question... ]

I've barely been in Nippon for twenty-four hours, things like this are going to take time for me.

[ He sighs, fingers tracing shapes along Rufus's arm ]

Do you want me to go to this sex store with you?
