[Steam obscures the majority of his long body except for his head. His golden eyes are half-closed and his fuzzy white mane is wet and pressed against his silvery white neck and face. Blowing out a loud breath, tail splashing behind him, Longyan gives his communicator a toothy grin.]

I have found a large hot spring.

In case anyone is interested.

[There is room for more! If you're not frightened of a dragon.]

A hot spring? People take baths in those, don't they?

[ Longyan is a lot less confusing than Jin Mi. So Xufeng smiles at the invitation and takes a close look at that springs. Then focuses on the sense of the dragon before willing himself there. Sure. He could have flown. But this is more fun. He steps forward as if nothing strange happened, dismissing his clothes as he slips into the steaming water with a relieved breath. ]

Mm or they can come to soak. [He rolls and gets the water on his scales.]

[He is alone and then, suddenly, he isn't! The dragon's eyes widen and he lifts his great head, surprised - but pleasantly so. The huff he gives is amused when Xufeng joins him and he splashes the phoenix with his tail.]

Did I invite you?

[ The phoenix fights the smirk as he's splashed, only turning his face to avoid the worst of the water and cants a playfully annoyed look at the dragon. ]

Didn't you? You seemed lonely.

[He can make it worse. Dipping his large head under the water, he surfaces forcefully and wiggles his ears at Xufeng.]

I've spent plenty of baths alone. They are boring.

[His long, scaled body is soon replaced with a human one and Longyan lounges against the edge of the spring.]

[ That is unfairly cute! The grin can't be hidden! He ducks his head in an attempt anyway, only peeking back up when the dragon shrinks to his human form. ]

I wouldn't want you to be bored. Unless you wish to be.

[Well that had been the point. Xufeng has a nice smile and if Longyan can cause more, why shouldn't he? He splashes with his feet, his silvery hair spreading out around him on the water's surface.]

Who wishes to be bored? Someone strange! [He swims to the far side of the spring and comes back with a bowl of...cherries! Why would he come here without a snack? That would be silly.]

[ Cheater.

Xufeng shakes his head, fond, and swims over to join his friend when he spies the bowl of cherries. ]

Sometimes it's nice to be alone.

[With a small smile, Longyan shows Xufeng that the bowl of cherries can float! Amazing, huh?]

I was here first. [Is the phoenix trying to push him out of his spring? Huff.]

[ He flicks some water at the dragon before plucking a cherry from the bowl. ]

You mentioned hot springs, if anyone was interested. I'm interested. So I came.

These springs are small compared to mine. You would love to soak in my castle.

[He doesn't have much in the way of possessions, but he does have a long ass bath/spring.]

We could drink wine and talk. [Isn't that what friends do?]

[ To only have what is precisely necessary...he wouldn't mind that, he thinks. Xufeng settles comfortably against the side of the spring. ]

That sounds nice.

Other abodes are richer and finer, but I like mine.

[He has his long pool that is heated inside, his bed, a room to receive guests, plenty of wine and sometimes food if he is feeling hungry.]

You have connected with your brother.

It is yours. Surely you are strong enough to adjust things as needed if you weren't happy with them.

[ Teasing, the slight curl of lips states. ]

I have. I'm living in the same place he is. Have you found a place you like?

If I cared to... [Which he doesn't.] I have my eyes set on a far better prize.

[Longyan swims to rest at Xufeng's side, tipping his head back to see the stars.]

Like might be too strong of a word. It will take time for me to afford a place befitting my size.

Oh? And what would interest a dragon like you?

[ He reaches out to dare tuck a lock of silver hair back behind an ear. He hopes his brother isn't watching at this moment! ]

But you are not too uncomfortable?

Immortality. Heaven will grant it to me after I pass the trials.

[But there is more that he wants. Longyan feels a shiver run across his skin and he glances at Xufeng.]

I can adjust. [Turning, he faces the phoenix.] I have been thinking about our kisses.

Then there is nothing to worry about. You will pass them.

[ Xufeng has faith in this dragon reaching what he seeks. The heat is responsible for the faint flush to his cheeks! Yes! Absolutely. ]

What about them?

It would be nice to finish what I started.

[He looks over Xufeng openly and gives the phoenix a small smile. The male form is no different from his own and yet there is something exciting about it belonging to Xufeng.]

I think I need more lessons.

It is best to do so.

[ He swallows a little chuckle at the roundabout request, but instead of answering, he takes another cherry, bites out the seed...then leans in to 'share' the sweet fruit in a soft press of lips. ]

[Longyan looks pleased at having Xufeng's encouragement. Not that he needs it! It's just...nice.

The way the fruit is used to lure him almost makes him laugh, but then he feels a kiss and he is entranced by it. How can something so simple make him feel so much? He bites at the cherry and kisses Xufeng while the fruit rests on his tongue.]

[ Xufeng would never discourage such a quest. Especially of one Longyan is on. He likes this handsome dragon!

He nibbles on both fruit and tempting lips before softening the kiss again as he enjoys the sweetness. ]

[Longyan is good at his core; he won't abuse his power. He foresees himself as a kind ruler, protecting those who fall under his jurisdiction with his talons and fangs.

Humming at the sweetness, he pulls back and smiles, clearly pleased.]

I thought you had forgotten.

[ He likes to think he's a good judge of character. And he thinks Longyan is far from a dark dragon.

Xufeng ducks his head as he pulls back, swallowing the last of the sweet bite. ]

How to kiss?

[ Another tease. He knows what his friend means, and it brings another little grin to his lips. ]

[No, he is a heavenly dragon and one day he will fly through the stars.

Longyan plucks up another cherry and swings it enticingly before Xufeng's lips.]

How could I forget that?

[He frowns and kisses that little grin to prove himself.]
