Then he makes the journey to the temple, shaking despite his intense need for self-control. When he is let inside, he goes to Zishu and gently places the mother rabbit and her babies on the bed with the man.)

[ Zishu has had better days. The appearance of his friend and the cute little bunnies brings a quiet little smile to tired lips, and he makes space for them. ]

(The babies are adorably fuzzy and curious. They hop over Zishu and sniffsniff at his face and hands. The mother rabbit is a glorious cream color and Wangji lifts her, hugging her to his chest as he sits down.)

The invitation is eventually accepted and Wangji takes off his boots before stretching out, the mother bunny on his chest. She licks Wangji's cheek and then checks on her babies. The little bunny that is different is a mixture of white and black - just like his father.)

But neither of them have a choice, so they must make do with what they have left. He sighs quietly and settles onto his back, cuddling the cute little babies on his chest where they can easily be checked on. ]

(The mother bunny sniffs each of her babies and then gives them kisses. Wangji smiles at the sight and pets over her soft back.)

(He coughs and covers his mouth with a handkerchief, sitting up to breathe easier.)
