I need to inquire about certain weapons. Ones that can be customizable.

[His 'room' doesn't look like the one he had been in previously. It looks more modern, a little stark in its decoration save for two items hanging in the window like sun catchers: a jade ring with a silver dragon entwined around it and a soapstone carving of a lotus blossom.]

Preferably, war fans. They would be called tessen here, I believe. Where I'm from, they can come in bamboo or steel boning, and I'd like to purchase a couple of sets of each. Any direction where I can find them and an artist to paint them would be greatly appreciated. Actually, I may know of an artist who can help me, but the fans themselves need to be purchased first.

I got a custom sword made for my teacher as a thank you gift to him for everything he's done for me. I bet if we work together to draw the design we can get something made from there too.

Yep. For several months now because I got one of those kizuna swords and I didn't want to hurt myself using it. He saw me and became my teacher. He's really amazing.

So because he's done so much for me I got a custom weapon made for him as thanks.

I... don't know. I named it Xingqing and never really delved into possible abilities other than it changed colors. Though I think the milder my mood, the lighter it feels.

Well, the best way to find out is to ask them! But I think they probably would be because you're offering to teach them.

How will they know if they have an interest if you don't offer? Besides, wouldn't you have more interest if you knew that the teacher was going to be good?

Have more faith in yourself! I know I want you to offer to me so I can learn things you know because then I'd have someone amazing to teach me.

Yes, I will teach you the fans. It is the first thing the little ones are taught so they can gain a sense of balance and body awareness. Later on, those who can cultivate will progress to the sword. Others could move on to dancing. And our elder grandparents can return to the fan if they wish.

My teacher had a pair of fans that were the prettiest things. And he was lighter than a butterfly with them.

Oh wow. I wonder if learning this will make me better in my sword lessons...

I'd love to learn to dance more too. With fans it must be so beautiful.

It could! The fans are extremely versatile and can teach you that you will always have a weapon in hand even if it seems like common items aren't weapons.

Fan dancing is beautiful. Many of the forms became dances.

My family made me a custom knife too so I can always protect myself. Even from the Fae if they come here. P'Vegas has been teaching me how to use it. Getting to learn to use fans too though...
