So, I've gotten back my camera and that basically means one thing only: I wanna take your picture, please!

It's not only good practice for me, it's a treat for you! The pictures don't rely on a computer and I can buy what's needed to develop them. I'm good at regular portraits, fashion poses, and thirst traps especially.

As far as payment goes, please bring food: rice, konbu, miso, and tofu are all good choices.

[Time passes. And soon there's a knock on Kokoro's door.

Should the door be opened, standing out in the hall is Genbu, dressed in his black singlet and purple half-slops which are tucked into a pair of work boots. Genbu himself has his hair in a ponytail, with a white bandana resting on top. On his shoulder he is carrying a large bag of rice.

Yeah, right now, he is the epitome of sexy construction worker pinup.]

Kokooooooo, I'm "here"!

[Kokoro opened the door and wrinkled her nose at him in mock distaste. Her furisode and hakama were neat and orderly in comparison to Genbu's more working-class threads.]

Boooooo.

[That bag of rice was HUGE. But on the other hand, as soon as everyone could go back to Tokyo, she'd have a ton of rice to eat.]

Thanks for bringing the rice, though! Just put it over by the closet, I'll figure out what to do with it later. What kind of picture do you want me to take?

[Kokoro talked as she went over to her hard case and opened it. Snugly safe within was her camera, the Bikon D7100 looked as alien as any of Genbu's tomestones might've looked to her. She knew it could take a lot, but she still showed Genbu with care as she put a lens on the camera.]

So this is my baby; she's the last camera my dad gave me for my birthday before I came here. He's a wildlife photographer, so I always get his hand-me-downs. Isn't she beautiful?

Ehhh? B-booo??

[Pout pout. Tough crowd, she was! Well then, moving on...]

Ah...okay...?

[Genbu moves over and gently plops the rice down.

When he returns, Kokoro asks about what picture to take, but then seems to start gushing over her little device. Genbu smiles and keeps quiet, allowing her to talk about her "baby".]

So is this how cameras look in yer world?

Yeah, but not all cameras are the same. There's even a camera in my cell phone... [Kokoro fished it out of her sleeve and opened up the camera app. She didn't want to bother Atalanta-kun too much to charge it, but a couple pictures would be fine now and again. With the camera facing them, she snapped a quick photo after a small adjustment of her arm.]

See? My other camera will be better quality.

Gah!

[Genbu notices a small flash coming from Kokoro and he jumps, a little defensive. That is until he realizes where it came from.]

Eh? Cell....hey! That kinda looks like one of those tomephones!

[The photo taken by Kokoro will have her smiling and looking cute with a blurred black and tan blob next to her.]

Pfft, I have no idea what a tomestone is, but OK. Hold still, it's hard to take a good selfie if you're jumping around like that. Actually put your head here.

[Kokoro pats her shoulder.]

We'll take a selfie together and then maybe you'll let me take your picture?

Eh?? Uh sure...?

[Once Kokoro pats her shoulder, Genbu places his chin on it much like a dog shoving it's nose in a circle formed by it's owner's hand.]

[Kokoro grins and adjusts the angle of the camera, playing around with some of the features until she apparently gets just what she wants out of the image.]

OK, smile and-- se no!

[The screen doesn't need to flash this time, anyway. Kokoro and Genbu find themselves staring back at Kokoro and Genbu in her phone's screen.]

Ooh, we're cute.
