[Some people will recognize this odd man with a hole in his head. But today, well, maybe it's just the video quality, but he's got a different energy about him? It's hard to pin down why. Maybe he's standing a little straighter.]

Um... I've been lucky to get to know a lot of you better over the past month. People have been very kind to me, and I'm grateful. But... I've remembered some things. And I know now that it's not fair of me to keep this to myself. Before I came here, I drilled holes in people's heads. Two of them survived but six of them died. I don't plan on drilling anyone else unless they want me to, but if you don't want to be around me because of this, I understand.
[Closing his eyes a moment.]

On a different note, I want everyone to know that I love Grell Sutcliff and one day soon I'm going to marry her! That's all.

There's dozens of more exciting things that can be done that aren't killing someone even by accident.

I mean I know that? I didn't do it because it was exciting...

I think it's a bit late for the former, though.

Ehe. Not everyone has to be your friend or even really like you. Unless you're actually trying to make everyone like you.

Oh, I don't think I could do that even if I tried. But I think some people might've been my friend if I hadn't said all this.

But I think it was the right thing to do.

You need to be honest when you're trying to be friends with someone. If someone finds out later, they'll just be angrier.

Maybe sometimes? But the place I was before... I think some of my friends wouldn't have talked to me if they'd known what I did at the start. Since they'd already gotten to know me they were more willing to be flexible in how they thought of me, I think.

Maybe. I guess it depends on the people you want to befriend.

Well really I don't feel like I'm in any place to be choosy?

Anyone is allowed be choosy about their friends.

I mean some people haven't really had many friends until recently? So...

I guess? Or rather I was told once that I need to "raise my standards" so maybe it's more that.

It can be both.

But I actually have been able to make a lot of good friends here and on the ship without changing anything at all really!!

That's good. Friendship is important. Especially when you don't know how long you'll be in a place like this.
