I've been thinking.

I can't commune with my goddess in the sort of way I was able to in my world, and I think that's mostly just because her voice gets more...muted, I suppose, with the barrier between worlds?

But I still feel her will enabling me to do things for other people here. And I think that as long as I have the ability, I should try doing that?

I'm moving out of the Yoshiwara dormitories in a little while, but I've been thinking of setting up my own space where I can carry out my work. Not so much a temple, since no one else besides me worships her and I'm not interested in proseletyzing, but it's...something?

I'm not sure where I should set this workspace up. I'm mostly interested in helping the refugees research and discuss magic with each other, as well as offering healing services to those who need them and don't trust (or can't use) the facilities here for whatever reasons.

If anyone else would like to contribute something, I'm all for hearing it.

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for in the area of healing (mostly because I assume there might be a magical aspect based on where we are), but I have field medic and first aid experience.

I'm alright with researching about magic too. Or just anything that's there to do. Admittedly I have no responsibilities here and I'm a little stir-crazy.

No, you're absolutely welcome. I'm mostly skilled in magical healing, but if you've got non-magical expertise under your belt, that's great!

Oh, that's great then. I'd like to think that non-magical healing can be a fail safe in any situation.

What kind of magic do you practice? My discussing it is rusty. It's been a long time since I disavowed Paganism.

Whatever my goddess requires of me for the situation, which, yes, is usually healing...

Sometimes it's zombies? Or the cloud of flesh-eating beetles.

Well, I guess magic would be useful in dealing with things of that nature. Or the aftermath.

Nippon seems bizarre, but I'm hoping that hoards of murderous bugs aren't what we're contending with.
