[ A few days after the party, there's absolute radio silence from Klaus for a few days as he more or less just...disappears off the face of the earth.
And then this happens on the network. ]
So I've been wondering, what's the longest you've either been back home or had some memories come back or...whatever, because it's been pretty much seven years on my end.
I'm okay; I've just been busy. One of the NRL scientists asked me to help test this bit of technology they had, so perhaps I can show you?
[ The first picture is Klaus holding a beautiful newborn baby girl, who's squirming and grimacing in her dad's arms. You can't see her matcha green skin because this is sepia toned, but her pouty underbite-y face and pointy ears make it clear that she's totally an orcling.
A human woman, clearly exhausted with messy hair, is in the background but is mostly obscured by Klaus' body. ]
Ah, that would be my youngest.
Maybe I should get a little more specific about what I've been up to?
[ There's two more pictures here. One is a picture of Klaus being dogpiled by three tiny orcs and a young child who looks like...some sort of dryad? Wood nymph? With palm-like leaves for hair. Either way, all of the kids are just kind of mercilessly tackling their dad to the ground while the same human woman from before, now presentable with her hair in a bun, holds a baby orc in her arms while she tries not to laugh.
She's a slim, dignified looking lady about the same age as Klaus, with graceful but firm features. Hardly looks like the sort of woman who pushed out four orc babies, but there you go.
The second picture is this beautiful orc-human-woodnymph family around a table in a fairly expensive-looking dining room like you'd see in a period drama set in the 1800s, eating dinner with an assortment of characters.
A tiny elf girl, an even tinier elf girl, a six foot tiefling girl who looks totally out of her element, and a muscular...creature who honestly looks like someone grafted a weird Cthulhu face onto a buff Frankenstein body. Oh. And two other women, a younger one and a middle-aged lady, who are just regular humans. The oldest of the human ladies holds the baby orc from earlier in her arms, snuggling the orcling to pieces.
There's a bottle of wine resting on the table. It's a big table, but not unusually so; it's clear that everyone's kind of smooshed together and a couple of mismatched chairs from elsewhere in the house have been pulled up to make sure everyone has a seat. Everyone looks like they're enjoying each other's company. ]
That's enough pictures for today, I think.
