Not quite. Space-farer. I'm used to working with metals for repairs, so if any pipes are leaking, I can fix that.

I've kept my ship in tip-top shape despite how old it is. And I'm pretty sure plumbing is a bit less complicated than a ship's main engine. :3

[It's enough of a trek from wherever Glenn's staying to wherever Koro is staying, that there's some time to talk.]

[After a few moments, Glenn initiates a video feed. If Koro accepts, a young man stares placidly at the camera, irises mimicking the look of the lens.]

Koro?

[It's relatively quiet, Glenn having found a less-occupied part of the train. He looks at the screen with some mild amount of nervousness. At this proximity to the camera, it's easy to pick out that Glenn's hair is not so much hair as it is tufts of fur with chunks of feathers making up some of the strands.]

Am I audible to you? Can you see me?

[His voice, furthermore, is relatively emotionless, tinted just softly with inflection. His words are spoken a little slowly, but not by too much.]

[Koro turns on his video, but doesn't quite show his face. His voice is also just as emotionless.]

...Yes. I can see you.

[Rather jarring how stark the difference is between his voice and his text.]

[Honestly, it's not that jarring to Glenn. Seems pretty normal enough as far as he's concerned. It just so happens that they both emote more in text than verbally.

[Satisfied, he gives a little nod of his head.]

Good.

[He lifts up one hand and several fingers twist together in order to form an eye on a long stalk.]

I can do things like this and more. So I am able to see and inspect small crevices.

[He dissolves the eye and returns his fingers to normal. After a moment, the camera shifts, moving further away as Glenn morphs a tendril and uses it to lift and move the feed around. The extra tentacle comes from his wrist, and it's clear that he's not holding onto it with his hands at this point.]

I can then use some of my cells to fix damages. Like leaks.

[Tilting his head, he brings the device closer to himself again, both hands still visible in the frame as his fingers lightly tent together.]

[Koro raises his brow as he witnesses the changes before him. Yeah this definitely wasn't a human. Whoever he is...Koro is rather intrigued. He watches as the young man changes his body parts around to form interesting shapes. Though if the boy is worried about frightening Koro well...

He lived in hell most of his life. He's seen scarier in his reflections a small chuckle escapes his lips as he has that thought.]

And here I thought I was special. All I can do is change into a handsome man.

[reorienting]

[No horror, no fear-- Glenn relaxes muscles that he didn't notice were tense. His expression softens as he reverses the changes entirely, taking hold of the device with his proper hands once more.]

Well, your opinion of handsome is accurate to me, too.

[He's not sure what else to say, and so adds a little smile. It's small, and shy, but genuine. Koro's quiet chuckle also helps him mirror the mood a little. Not that he's lacking for warmth, but sometimes it's just easier to follow the lead of another.]

You're probably plenty special in ways I am not, too. Including with however your other form appears.

[All of this, spoken matter-of-factly.]

I won't ask you to display it, however. I know-- how self-conscious one can be about appearances. And you have nothing to prove to me, either.
