Anybody know of any place hiring masseurs? I'm having no luck whatsoever! All the places I check are either not hiring or want cute girls.
There was one that seemed promising but when the owner saw me he froze up and rejected me on the spot!
I don't get it??? I'm not ugly or anything, at least I hope I'm not. But perhaps beauty standards here are different from back home in 21st century Japan?
Doesn't help that I don't have my credentials on me. Those stayed back home.

And borderline-friend? Lolol so do you make friends by asking for pics and then saving them? That's a mood
[Koro has practiced the modern slang of course]

[Or they're like Lance. But this guy seems less loud-with-a-capital-L than her fellow Paladin.]

Appreciate the comment regardless. I'm glad you think I'm interesting just from a gratuitous topless pic

[Why yes, she can absolutely argue semantics all day. It's one of her more charming attributes.]
I still say you should get people you've already massaged to talk you up. How many of the places you tried have explicitly said they were looking for cute girls?

Anyways if say most of them. There was one that seemed promising but the dude saw me once and rejected me immediately ಥ‿ಥ

I'm hardly an expert here, but wouldn't cute girls be a terrible choice of masseuse unless they're also incredibly strong?

But also women are more common among massage therapists than men! Hell, it's even in the name "masseuse" as that's the female version of a massage therapist. A masseur, like me, would be male.
But yeah strength can be an important factor, but it's not necessary. A lot of clients prefer a gentler touch, and plus, if you know exactly where to dig, strength isn't even needed.
Oh but don't get me wrong, even if I'm a man, I'm still gentle if you need me to be ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

[She's learning so much today. And this is probably the longest she's spent talking about massage therapy in her entire life. Hmm.]
Good to know! [Lance would probably find all of this to be incredibly fascinating. Unfortunately, Pidge's interests have more to do with tech than the touchy-feely. But she's still glad to have the info.
If Lance ever shows up, she'll make a note to point him toward this guy.]
I'm pretty small. Gentle is probably a necessity.
[She's never had a massage, so Pidge actually has no idea if that's true or not.]

It's more so the smaller women that can handle it better
But hey I'm always gentle if you'd need me to be uwu
no subject
[That's not even close to what he's saying, but Pidge is going to Pidge.]
Does that mean most of your clients are big burly guys?
no subject
But let's just say I get more men asking me to be gentler than women hehehehehe
There was this one lady that said I wasn't doing it hard enough and jokingly demanded I walk on her. I ended up suggesting a chiropractor >_>;;
Oh and yeah I get a mix of clients of different ages sizes and genders

[She knows a lot of strong people, and even if the majority of them are men, that doesn't detract from her previous statement.]
That's actually pretty amusing. I wonder why it's just the men that want you to be gentle.
Aww. You didn't walk on her? :P
[It doesn't occur to her to mention that some people are probably more into the pain than others.]
That's good. Diversity is important.

I specialize in aromatherapy, oil, and treatment style, myself.
As for the dudes...I dunno! But I get more male clients complaining about too much pressure than female clients. It's amusing really.
[ooc: fun fact I asked like five different massage therapists and they all said they get more complaints about pressure from men than women jdidjsodk]
