Greetings. There is still a great deal more we do not understand.
We are still searching for data input for this region of space. Data exchange would be appreciated, all topics. We cannot research the extranet from this current time-space anomaly independently, and thus must rely on interactions.
We also have a request: Those who posses scrap metal, or are willing to aide us with technological tools and services, we would greatly appreciate these individuals to speak with us.

I can try to help, though I've not been here more than 55 days myself. I haven't got any metal or tools, but I might be able to help with technological services, depending on what you mean by that.

[ Which they hope answers the question. ]
We wish to construct a memory storage device that we can interface with.

[ He could say how long he's been here down to the second as well, but figures most of the time people don't care about such minute details. ]
You may have some trouble with that, if you mean memory as in RAM. Most of the technology in Nippon runs on magic instead of electronics. And that that doesn't, is dated somewhere about the early twentieth century.

We do not mean memory as in RAM, not precisely. We wish to construct a memory storage device to preserve our data-memories and runtimes while we are cut off from the greater geth network, should anything overly destructive happen to this mobile platform.
2/2 because i posted too soon don't mind me doop doop
sorry so slow...
Either way, I'm not sure I'll be able to help you, but I am interested in hearing of any progress you might make, if you're open to sharing. Normally I can back up to the cloud, but I have had to save all my backups locally since I arrived here. Sooner or later I'm going to run out of space and I'll have to start deleting things if I can't find another solution.
i was hiatused anyways, so it's all good
We were not aware there were other synthetics within this time-space anomaly. That would be very concerning. We will share what data we can. Perhaps we can learn more about your system hardware to better accommodate a model of this unit that you could utilize. Based on current data we have a schematic for ourselves.
Would you be willing to share your system specs with us at some point?
As for your question: Yes and no. It is apt in that it is a gateway to sharing information amongst each other, but a better way to describe it is networking a multitude of computers together all at once.

Sure, I'd be happy to. I've no reason to keep any of it to myself, I don't think.
[ He's also wholly too trusting. It's a fault of his. ]
Oh, I see. That does sound like something useful.

We have been designated as Legion. Your designation would be appreciated, should you care to share that information.
How best would it be for you to share information of your system hardware with us? Eventually we will require knowledge of software, however, we are at least a few months from even beginning to prototype.
How soon will you run out of memory space?

I should be alright on memory space for another several months, but I definitely don't have enough storage capacity to be here for a whole year.
I can share my specs with you however you'd like. I'm not sure if these magicomms are capable of that kind of file transfer, so maybe it would be better to meet in person?
