Is anyone in the Yoshiwara dorm still awake?
I'm bored and cold and I can't sleep.
[It's a power outage!! And also a bit past midnight. Those still awake can reply, or head to one of the shared living areas to find Ranpo curled up and shivering by a window, lit up only by moonlight.]

[I can't believe that's kind of canon in both series smh.]

[Hoo boy, here comes the slurry of questions. Quirks Ochako can understand, considering there's actual science behind it - and that she's from the world in which they originate, of course - but abilities seem...pretty random. The science nut in her is confused and weirded out, and trying to put logic behind it as best she can. Because transferring a quirk especially is just...bizarre. If it's not genetic, then how can one transfer it? It'd be like signing off a car or something, instead of passing it down through blood. It's just...weird.]
I mean, it's understandable the new user would have a problem using the ability, if their body's not made to withstand whatever they get, but...I guess I'm still stuck on the how.

[Which feels so weird, somehow?? But then, it's not as though the general public didn't already think of them as magical to some extent.]
But I think it might help more if you knew more about specific abilities to compare them to your world's quirks? This is all between us, so-- I can tell you some of the other agency member's abilities!
[Unlike quirks, abilities tend to be a secret. But on that note: HOPE SHE'S PREPARED FOR SOME WEIRD SHIT--]
One member can create anything out of thin air -- as long as he knows how it works. But to make it, he has to write it down on the page of a particular type of notebook he likes, and whatever he makes can't be bigger than that specific notebook.
Another gains superhuman strength and invulnerability -- but only when he's hungry.
Our agency's president has the power to restrict the abilities of his subordinates. But since he didn't have any subordinates until he started the agency, he had no idea he even had an ability in the first place!
And to answer your first questions, well... we don't really know how abilities are transferred. But one of our members got her ability from her mother, allowing her to command a sword-wielding entity called Demon Snow. Because it wasn't originally hers, it only obeyed commends spoken through an old cell phone -- but thanks to our President's ability, she's able to control it normally now!

Ahaha, Ranpo-san, our worlds actually sound kind of similar!! I-I mean, not the whole abilities seen as magic thing, though I'm sure they were called magical, or supernatural, when they first began to manifest in young children--oh!! That's another thing! Do your abilities have an age range they begin to appear? Quirks are usually known to start showing in children from five to six years old, but some get them the moment they're born.
And, ehehe...it's sort of funny!! The agency members you mentioned have quirks that are kind of similar to my friends!! Momo-chan can create anything using the lipids in her body, but she also has to know how that object functions and its makeup as well. But! She's made really large things like canons and catapults...but what she creates comes from her body, s-so...there are times she sort of destroys her, um...c-clothes...producing things. Eheh...
[Yeah, it's...it's a thing. Poor Yaoyorozu, one day you will get a hero costume that works with your quirk,
so you can stop being sexualized.]And Satou-kun!! Satou-kun gets super strength and mild invulnerability when he consumes a lot of sugar or sweets! Of course, with each quirk comes a caveat, of course. Satou-kun has to work out a lot because he consumes so much sugar, a-and of course there;s the sugar crash and sickness that comes with it, and Momo-chan has to eat a lot to build up her body's fat reserves so she can create more things...my own quirk causes violent nausea if I use if too much, or lift a lot of really, really heavy objects for too long!
I've controlled it mostly, but our support gear and costumes really help to alleviate some of the downsides of our quirks. And quirk training, of course. We go through all of this at my school to help us get stronger, and become wonderful heroes some day!!

[Listening to all the quirks of her classmates tho... it really does sound more like her world's versions are inherently biological in some way, even if they seem to stretch the realm of what should be physically possible.]
Support gear for your quirks, huh... gee, it'd be nice if we could develop something like that. But most of the abilities I know with drawbacks aren't really the sort that could be fixed with something like a fancy costume.
Ah, except maybe Atsushi-kun. I think his wallet would appreciate not having to buy new clothes every time he uses his weretiger ability.

...Weretiger?
[As in like a werewolf but like...a tiger? Like someone can just fucking. Turn into a tiger on a full moon? A whole ass tiger. Because wolf wasn't terrifying enough or some shit?? Okokokok, sure. That's horrifying but also cool as shit. What the fuck.
She has to meet this person now. It's the law.]
1/2
[He's also the main character because someone decided the main character of Bungo Stray Dogs should be a catboy.]

Sure, they rip when he changes just his arms and legs, but if his whole body changes, they're still there afterward! And even I can't figure out why that happens. Unconscious dedication to obscenity laws, I guess?
[IS HE FUCKIN' WITH HER OR IS THIS SINCERE it's both.]
