[ there is... well, an archangel on the screen. He is not amused but to be fair, Satan never looks too amused. ]

I have been taken from Hell before I had the chance to do it myself. It saved me time, for sure. [ it's not the first time Satan has broken a timeloop, he is certain he could have done it again ] But I have to wonder about God. Do you think He will be wrathful enough for an apocalypse when He realizes I have left? I certainly think He'd love to lay waste to this world. [ Satan smiles, soft and gentle, but with a certain... coldness behind it ]

Regardless, at least this place isn't covered in humans. It's a big plus. [ he isn't happy there are humans around and still sorta wants to kill them all. BUT. At least there are many non-humans around too ]

For those who have heard of me, I am Lucifer, the Morning Star, the Old Scratch, Belial, Devil, Leviathan, the Serpent, whatever humans came up with. It's tiring to keep up with all the names you've given me. I usually go by Satan.

Of course. [ if she is a human with powers, he can easily dismiss her, but if this girl is a non-human, Satan wouldn't mind looking around the place with her ]

( by all accounts, she supposes she's simply the former, but she's not sure what Central managed to do, exactly. she's as much a bed for her flowers as any piece of earth she chooses to grow them in.

maybe she's something entirely odd now. wouldn't that be fun. )

How about... this place?

( sending directions to a little second hand bookstore in a back alley! because why not? hole in the wall locations are always a good bet. )

[ lucky him (and her) he has teleportation, so getting there is actually pretty easy. What is probably not easy is the fact that Satan is... well, naked and has way too many wings. Even if people are used to non-humans, that is still something else surely.

But Satan is a drama queen and likes to show off like this. ]

( well. that's different. she, unfortunately, had to walk, and next to a huge expanse of wings and no clothing, her trailing vines and floral blossoms are... rather pedestrian.

Calanthe could hide the surprise, if she really wanted to, but it would be more suspicious to look unruffled by such a sudden appearance. blending in is better.

of course, as soon as the shock has worn off, she may or may not stand out anyway, with a bright smile and a quick, sharp round of applause. )

[ satan cares little if she'd be surprised or not, but he is pride incarnated. So he smiles back a little at her, before his hand moves to wave a little ] Perhaps.

I suppose these can be a bit too much for mortals here. [ he means the wings. ]

They're pretty. ( she wants wings. rude. )

My name is Calanthe. ( she's even happy to flourish that with a little curtsey and the quick conjuring of a flower that matches her name. excessive? entirely, but where's the fun in a life without excess? )

[ the wings move at the compliment and Satan nods as a little silent thank you.

He watches the flower. Honestly? He is all about excess, so he doesn't dislike her showing off her abilities. Instead, he reaches for the small flower ]

Interesting powers. Can you do more than that?
