Blue is lovely, isn't it? [He can't disagree! In fact, he pulls up a blue blanket and waves it playfully.]

It is. Blue and black will always be my colors, in a way.

[ He does, however, give a small smile at the blanket that's waved. ]

Black might be too dark. But I definitely will include blue.

[Since it reminds him of Mingye and that makes him happy.]

Shimmer? [He's interested!] How pretty. I'll have to think about it.

Some of the robes I have back home have a shimmer to them. Shine just right when the light hits.

You have exceptional taste. [Is he surprised? No.] I want you to wear something that shimmers here too.

We'd have to find me something that shimmers, then.

Shall we go shopping? We can make a day of it.

[He sets the boxes in a corner so Zichen won't accidentally trip. Then he checks his appearance in a mirror, smoothing back his hair with a little water. With a faint grin, he exits the apartment and walks to Mingye's door, rapping on the door with his knuckles.]

[ He doesn't even bother going to the door just yet, opening it with his dark energy, and making a bit of a face. The face was more due to the feathers than anything else. ]

I might just have to get used to wearing it down. Unless, of course, you have a different idea.

[ He didn't want to mess up the feathers, after all. ]

Hmm...let me see...

[Xingchen walks right over to Mingye and gently preens the pretty feathers. No, pulling them back will pluck them and that might hurt.]

Wear your hair down for now. I can help you sort them out if there is wind.

[ He has never been overly fond of his hair down, having always worn it up. That was the only bad thing about the feathers. They got in the way. He gives a hum and turns, those tri-colored eyes watching Xingchen. ]

Alright. For now, I'll wear it down. I'll eventually need to figure a way to keep it out of my face.

I think you look very handsome. [Xingchen grins into those lovely eyes and walks back to the door, Shuanghua safely sheathed against his back.] Shall we?

[ It's said with a teasing smile even as he moves over towards where Xingchen was. ]

[He curls his arm around Mingye's and leads the way out of the apartment building and towards the clothing stores.]
