There's a park where I practice my sword. The woods hold coverage, but they're not worth practicing in.

[ Mingjue is already there when Ouyang does get to the park. It was probably obvious, just by how the Nie stands, that he was a soldier. Someone used to battle. Of course, he normally only spares with his soulmate. He hasn't sparred with anyone outside of Xichen since showing up.

Though, Ouyang would probably note the large dragon horns on his head, as well, and a hint of pearly white scales along the back of his neck. ]

(( One look at Nie Mingjue screams warrior. It's obvious in his stance, the set of his jaw, his very frame. It sparks a pang of envy in Ouyang. For his part, Ouyang is slight in stature and easily mistaken for a woman. But he's confident in his skills and it shows in the way he walks, sword in hand. He lifts his hands in a salute and bows to the man before him. ))

I am Ouyang.

[ The elder of the Nies has been a warrior for as long as he can remember, down to the point of even needing to take over the Nie sect far too young. He does, however, give a bow of his own to the man before him. ]

Nice to meet you, Ouyang. I am Nie Mingjue.

(( As soon as the the introductions are made, Ouyang draws his sword and stands ready. He's not so rude as to attack before Nie Mingjue draws his own weapon. ))

[ Even if he were to attack before Mingjue drew his sword, it would not particularly bother the Nie sect leader. However, he draws his own sword and waits until they both have that opening to strike. ]

(( Ouyang strikes first, always pleased to show he's stronger than his small frame implies. He didn't become the General of the Prince of Henan's armies by being Lord Esen favorite pet. He actually has the skill for it. ))
