Does anyone know how to aid one to sleep. I don't feel well and every time I try to sleep... I keep having...

It doesn't matter. Does anyone know how to make me sleep?

[ He's feverish and sleep-deprived and okay maybe a little freaked out and panicky but he'd never admit that. ]

He doesn't stop his soothing gestures as he tries to think about what's going on. "What happens when you meditate?" Maybe alter the nature of trying to sleep? He doesn't know how to fix this, but he will try everything.

Jin Ling shakes his head. "I hear the same sounds and it just makes me unable to focus," or relax and it feels him with terror.

"Oh," he says after a moment. "There's an incense that someone brought they said it should make me sleep but that I should only use it if someone is there to snuff it out after a while since while it's burning I wouldn't wake."

"Does this thing burn forever?" But, if it worked. Then again, he didn't know who this person was. It could be a trap.

"Where is it, A-ling? I'll light it." And then kill anyone who used it to harm his nephew.

Jin Ling shrugs. He hadn't thought to ask and he didn't really care as long as it worked. "It was a man named Zhou Zishu that brought it," Jin Ling informs him and then gestures to where a small package was on the dresser nearby the bed.

The name didn't ring a bell for Jiang Cheng but he files it away nonetheless. He shifts, moving to collect the incense and light one piece. Once it was smoking, he blew out the flame and set it in the proper receptacle. And then, because he's the boy's uncle, goes to sit on the bed, urging Jin Ling to lay down.

"Come here. Go to sleep." His voice is quiet and soothing.

Jin Ling lays down and he looks at Jiang Cheng and he always feels safer when he's around. He closes his eyes and the incense will do what it says it will.
