She probably isn't familiar to many as she has only made use of the network shortly after her arrival a handful of months ago. ))

To those who are parted from a spouse, do you find more comfort in holding out hope of their arrival in this place or accepting the loss and grieving for it?

Have comfort in the hope that one day, your mate will be here. Where I am from, many are forcefully separated from their loved ones and gone the way just acceptance of their sorrow. Though I was still being weaned when I see them, it always saddened me to see it.

[atheva]

(( Atheva nods in understanding. ))

I am glad you have not been through such an ordeal. It is a difficult burden to bear.

Such a heavy burden isn't for this one.

[To have such a mate like, she knows that she will never have the blessing and love.]

Tell me about him, your mate? I would like to hear about him.

(( A thoughtful look comes to her face as she searches for the very best way to describe him. ))

Cullen is the strongest person I've ever met. Not in terms of physical strength, but rather strength of character and conviction. He had a troubled past and by all rights could have despised someone like me. Yet, he never let his experiences harden him or close his mind.

[song_princess]

[She couldn't help but to smile as she listens to her description of her husband.]

He sounds like an amazing man. You are truly blessed to have such a person to call your mate. How did the two of you meet?

(( She has to nod in agreement. She is very fortunate, especially considering all the battles they could have lost each other in. ))

He was the Commander of the forces I ended up leading.

[A part of her heart aches as she listens.]

So he was your leader before my lady became a leader herself? How did you know that he was the one for you?

[atheva]

Not my leader, specifically. He led an army that was forming. Before that, he had also been a leader among the Templars.

(( She tilts her head, looking off in thought. ))

I'm not sure when exactly. It was all a very subtle growing bond between us.

Templars? I fear I never heard of that term, my lady.

[And here, she smiles as the other looks off in thought. This, this was something that was never meant for her even though she enjoys seeing it in others. If the smile on her face was any indicator.]

So it just happened before you knew it? What things did your mate do to help grow your bond?

Where I come from, Templars are a special order of warriors trained to watch over mages and combat their magics should they fall prey to demonic possession.

(( Her expression turns fond as she thinks back. ))

He was understanding of the position I was in. Before I became the leader of our group, I was looked at as a criminal. He treated me with dignity and respect in spite of that and in spite of my being an elven mage. I was suspected of murdering the head of the humans' religion. But Cullen never once treated me with suspicion. In addition to being one of my military advisors, he also grew to be someone I could simply talk to about life and the dangers we faced.

Is magic something to be feared where you are from? Demonic possession?

[That sounded bad but, why would demons possess people?

Those questions and others fade from her mind as she listens to her, smiling.]

He... He sounds like such a wonderful Beorc. My kind's more respectful term for his race. He sounds like a wonderful male and I can only pray that I may be blessed to meet him one day.

How did he propose to you?

(( Atheva chuckles at the memory, her smile growing. ))

He simply blurted out 'marry me.' Things were potentially about to change for the Inquisition and he said he'd found certainty with it, with me.

[song_princess]

[Leanne couldn't help but to beam a little and giggles.]

The Inquisition?

[She then shakes her head.]

How cute. You were a source of certainty with him if he just blurted out his proposal.
