Voice ; UN; songbird, open to Action as well

[This heat was nearly unbearable to her that she has been staying near the forest which she called home. This strange place, it at least gave her one outlet through this strange device.

A small sigh can be heard before the sound of someone taking a breath, only to start singing. Those who happen to be near where she is will feel a gentle loving type of warmth.]

[Aerith was home when her magi-comm comes to life. She gives it a funny look, a sigh can be heard, however crackly it might be, and she casts a look over to Sephiroth. It's a little odd. It didn't usually do things like that!

Before she can open her mouth to wonder about just what was going on a voice begins to sing. And Aerith smiles. She laughs and reaches over to see if she can somehow make it louder. The voice is without a doubt beautiful, melodious and just downright pretty! And without a moments hesitation she sets the device aside and hops to her feet and right over to Sephiroth. Whatever he was doing needs to stop! Because Aerith is on a mission!

She grabs his hands and pulls.]

On your feet, SOLDIER! Dance with me!

[The song was too pretty not to dance to!]

[ Sephiroth is reading when the music begins to play. It's odd but he pays it no mind, or at least he tries to. But he can hardly say no to Aerith so he puts the book down when she claims his hand and rises. ]

Is that an order?

[ He's already doing his best to comply. He doesn't have anything like rhythm but all of his training does lend a kind of unexpected elegance to his movements. The result is something awkward and yet somehow graceful at the same time. ]

A humble request from your adoring girlfriend.

[Aerith corrected teasingly. It had been an order of sorts, but a playful one wrapped in hope. And to her utter delight Sephiroth got up to his feet and came into her arms.

It was okay if he was awkward. It was their first time dancing so it would be a little. At least until they found a rhythm that suited them.

And it didn't take long at all. Soon they were moving together. Sephiroth remained a little stiff but that was just how he was. One day she hoped that she could find a way for him to truly relax but knew that would be a long and arduous journey. She was happy to take it. Even if it took years.

Eventually she raised her arms to rest along his shoulders, one hand upon the back of Sephiroths neck, and pressed her cheek to his chest. And there they swayed.]

[ Sephiroth swayed with her, doing his best to pick up and mirror her movements. Over time he came to realize that this was almost the same as a battle. The goal was completely different, as was the company, but it was still two people moving in tandem with each other. He also couldn't deny the similar sense of excitement he felt...for whatever reason. Perhaps it was the way Aerith's cheek rested so delicately against him or the way she held him, guided him.

Whatever the case, Sephiroth didn't mind doing this with her. He dropped his hands to her waist and let Aerith take them wherever she wanted to go. ]

[Trust Sephiroth to think of this in terms of warfare. If Aerith had been able to peek into that pretty head of his and hear his thoughts she might have thwacked him for it! A romantic moment could not and should not be thought of as a battle!

But... he was also entertaining her whim without question. She knew dancing probably wasn't something he was used to and she knew it was a lot to ask. Having him get up and move with her was so sweet though. It was heavenly listening to that pretty singing and just moving, swaying and dancing with that man she adored.

It would be a sad moment once the song ended. But for now Aerith could enjoy it.]

[ The fact that Aerith was happy was all Sephiroth needed to continue. Everything else was just background noise to him. It was simply how he was--in his mind there was only room for his fixation, and she was it. It might have seemed to others as if he was the dominant partner in their relationship and he was in a lot of ways, but just like with their dancing now Aerith could lead him wherever she wished to go and he would follow. ]

[To Aerith they were a partnership. And Sephiroth was kind enough to indulge her little whims, while she was always on hand to help him with his own. And besides, dancing was good for them both. Sephiroth was learning a new skill! And with practice he would be a master of it, she was sure! Did Aerith believe he would find it as fun as she did? Not in a million years! But that he was even dancing with her at all was brownie points in his favour.]

You're pretty good.

[Aerith smiled and lifted her head so she could look up at Sephiroth, a soft, loving light in eyes.]

I wish there was a way to have music here more often...

[ Sephiroth was used to and didn't care about praise, but coming from her it was different. Aerith's words had enough weight to sink or lift him. He'd given her that power himself and she'd done nothing but good with it. So his eyes lit up just the slightest bit at that. It was half in jest, but he also meant what he said next. ]

Am I?

[ And at that, Sephiroth thought of the options they had and vowed to make it happen somehow. ]

[That little sparkle in his eyes was a joy to see and Aerith couldn't help reaching up on her tippest of toes so that she could press a kiss to his lips.]

You are. You're good at almost all things you put your mind to! But... [Her smile softened.] I'm enjoying dancing with you.

[ If Sephiroth didn't have his mind made up already that would have decided it for him. ]

Hm. Then we'll have to do it again sometime.

[ He raised a gloved hand and stroked his thumb along her jaw. Although he didn't say so aloud, he thought Aerith was even more radiant like this. ]

I really do hope so.

[That smile of hers warmed as her head tiled into his touch. Sephiroth was willing to do this again with her? She was now even happier than before. This man was just too good to her. What had she done to deserve such a wonderful man?

Behind them the singing had long since stopped and they had continued to move, dancing slow and steady to whatever song was within themselves.]

[ Sephiroth tucked Aerith's head to his chest and held her there in answer. They both swayed silently but eventually he stopped and pulled back to look down at her eyes. They would do this again. He had already said they would, and he always kept his word. ]

[ The voice is familiar enough that it pulls a small smile from him and Xufeng turns to search for her. It's simple, really. The forest feels more comfortable in this world. And the warmth that wraps around him when he comes near enough encourages him to find a seat to listen properly. ]

[Leanne continues with her song, unaware that she has drawn in someone to listen to her. Flowers were in her hair of all sorts (camillias, lotus, sweet peas and hibiscus) and whenever she moved, more sprouted where she touched. But then, she notices him and just sings her song at and seeming for him. Once her song was over and she sighs, a garden of the same flowers sprouted and grew around her.]

[ Low and sweet, like the curl of waves along the show, a voice answers her ]

An Elven-maid there was of old,

[Leanne blinks before pausing in her singing, listening to him. She waits until he is finish before clapping her hands a little.]

My lord's voice is beautiful as well as his song.

My lady is most kind. You remind me of the tales of her, the Lady Nimrodel, and I thought to answer one whose voice is fair and true.

It is my lord that is most kind. It is an honor to hear such praises. I fear that this one is still young so she is still learning. She merely felt the urge to sing and so she sang.

Say not so! For if you are still learning, my lady, I think me that yours will be a voice to bring the very stars themselves to sing.

My lord speaks so kindly about this one's voice. If such a grand thing to happen, I shall pray that you will listen to this one's songs again.

My lady, I would be honored to listen, at any time.

I pray that this one wouldn't disappoint my lord on that day.

A minstrel? I never had the pleasure of meeting one before, my lord Maglor.

Aye, and one of the best, if I do say so myself. And no lord am I, my Lady Leanne! Just Maglor is fine, if you will.

If I am gonna just call you just Maglor then you must call me just Leanne! If it isn't too bold, then perhaps one day I can hear some of your songs.

If that is what the lady wishes, I will oblige! And you have but to ask, of course, Leanne - I would be only too honored.

It is what I wish, especially when we are friends. No, the honor shall be mine and if you ever desire a song, all you have to do is ask.

Why then we have an agreement, perhaps one day we will sing together.

Yes, we do. I would love it when that day happens.
