(( He should probably warn that he's not the most understanding of teachers. He was known to let his men fall down dead during training sessions. ))

[He may not have been a warrior like his brother but Runyu knows far more about the art of combat than he ever lets on. He knows he'll have fun surprising his love with that detail.]

(( In the past, he had little taste for showing off for its sake. His Mongol leaders enjoyed their annual exhibitions of skill and prowess, and Ouyang did his part, as expected, while hating every moment of it. But the thought of displaying his talents for Runyu doesn't trouble him at all. In fact, he's eager to show off what he's most proud of. ))

Am I wrong to presume you know how to handle a blade and a bow already?

[Runyu gives the most innocent of faces.]

Me? My brother was the warrior. Blade and bow were things he favored.

(( Nope. Ouyang's not buying it. He cocks a brow up giving the dragon an unconvinced look. ))

Am I to believe the Heavenly Emperor has no martial skills at all?

(( A smirk pulls up one corner of his lips and mischief lights his dark eyes. ))

[He laughs softly, loving that look.]

What do I get if I pass?

[theatrics]

A bath. You'll need it.

[theatrics]

Yes, one that I'll give you.

And if I find you wanting?
