It's that thing you do that gets you money so you can get things - whether it's things for fun or things like fun that you need. Less is needed here since they give you a bit.

ah. that explains it. money is a mortal concept i am still unused to. some of it is even toxic to our kind, actually. i always thought what they gave would be plenty for me, i suppose.

my role is to assist their majesty, our queen, but there is a value of obligation there for all fae of a single court.
