Hello, my name is Edelgard von Hresvelg. I have only been in Nippon for roughly a month, and I wanted to reach out to the community. I have not before lived without some form of assistance, so I am greatly uneducated in a few things that I am seeking help with:
1. Domestic Chores
→Cooking
→Laundry
I can tidy and wash dishes on my own, but those are not particular tasks that require skill or knowledge.

2. Employment, my skills are as follows
→Organization and Management
→Stamina, strength, and martial prowess
I can offer myself as a chess partner, a bodyguard for exploring, and I am able to memorize details very well. How the last may be utilize I will leave up to you.

3. Art
I am looking for models or mentors. I cannot pay in money just yet, but I am willing to offer other means of payment through bartering or services. My paltry skills need improvement and I am unsure I can teach myself the basics without assistance.

Before I conclude this message, I would like to preemptively apologize for any delay in my own responses. I am attempting to teach myself how to type efficiently on this device.

Then that would be an acceptable form of payment for my time. I'm not to picky about the weapons I use, but I'm more comfortable with swords.

Not as long as I had imagined then, that is good. Sitting or standing in one position for hours can be tiring, but thirty minutes to an hour should be fine.

It seems like very many people here specialize in sword play. Perhaps I will stick to my ax for variety.

As for the time length I intend to keep sessions short so I can split my focus on other skills I need to learn for independence.

I am well versed in other styles of fighting, swords are more a matter of practicality for me nowadays. Losing a hand tends to make other weapons harder to use afterwards.

A good choice. Art, while rewarding in it's own right, should not take precedence over more immediate needs.

How about sometime next week I can meet you for a spar, and then after that you can judge if what I have to offer is worth an hour of your time.

That seems reasonable. Where should we meet? I'm fairly new here myself and haven't had the time to know where it would be most convinient to spar yet.
