Hi! I'm Ike!
I know some people here are from worlds that are a lot more technologically advanced than Nippon. If you brought your phone with you, it's probably dead by now, right?
I can charge them for you!
I'm a Thunder eleman, which probably doesn't mean a lot to any of the people here, but I can create and control electricity! It's the only way I ever charge mine.
I know some people would probably like having pictures or messages from home, or an easy camera, even if that's all they can be now. And after everything that happened earlier, I thought it'd be a nice way to get to know more people.

Is that more of a magic thing than a technology thing?

Well in my case u just kinda...press it against ur horns hahahahahah!!!!!but it's still cool you can charge these techy things! Is there any loss when u do? Like it drains ur energy or something?

But... sorta! I naturally produce a lot of electricity, so I have to discharge it every day or so or I'll build up static. It doesn't really make me tired unless I'm doing something really big like making a thunderstorm.
[tl;dr he's a pikachu.]
I guess you could say it's kind of a mutual benefit? And it'd be nice to use the electricity I make for something useful. Back home, we all use it to power the city.

Unless something is battery powered, it'll stop working as soon as I stop using my element on it.

Say wats a battery?

A battery is something capable of holding an electric charge, which is used to power electronic devices. It's usually made of a combination of certain metals.
Batteries let you use something without it being plugged in. Like the oven you're talking about. There's probably a cord in the back that connects to the wall, right? That's where it's getting the electricity, from a system of wires that connect the entire city.
But unless something is designed to work with batteries, you can't just attach it to one. It needs constant electricity to work.
So I'd have to hold onto the plug the whole time to power it.
