Has anyone gotten a love letter before? They seem to be long, don't you think? I like the imagery and the emotion, but when it feels like I'm reading a scroll, I can't remember all of it!
[Does she comprehend the deep emotion behind such things? No. Magically, she can't. All the same, she is reviewing a few letters, trying...trying so hard...to understand.]
Do they want something special? I can give them flowers and I'm pretty good at the knots the Moon Immortal likes. Though I don't want to tie myself to anyone accidentally!
Can...
Can you explain love to me? What's it like? How does it feel?

Oh your family is here? Who are they?
no subject
My brother Maglor and my son Elrond. Perhaps you have seen them around here, I'm not sure how long they've been here but it's certainly longer than I've been.
no subject
Maglor is your brother? He helped me recently! I was blind and he made me dinner.
no subject
Yes, he's my first brother actually. The one closest in age to myself. That does sound like him, he is very kind you know. How come you were blind?
no subject
He... He is! I don't know. It only lasted for a week. [Which makes for a strange affliction.] I took part in that...lottery. Maybe that was my prize.
no subject
It's good that it wasn't permanent, but it seems a bit strange for blindeness to be counted as a prize...
no subject
I agree. I wouldn't have signed up if I had thought I could go blind!
You're nice like your brother. [By the way.] Do you like flowers?
no subject
[He can't really say he approves of letting people participate in something without warning them they might lose their sight for a week.]
Thank you, my lady. You are very nice as well. I do, though I rarely have had the time to properly appreciate them the way they deserve.

[Jin Mi gets spooked walking on the streets sometimes. So many mortals bustling about!]
You think so? [Preen.] I want to give you a flower that matches your hair. I'm thinking an Alstroemeria.
no subject
I do. [The offer surprises him a bit.] You do? I would be happy to accept your gift, my lady. An Alstroemeria would be perfect I think.
no subject
[So some good came out of it.]
Mm let me get a pot... [She sets a pot with fresh soil before her and concentrates, her hands glowing as she creates intricate symbols. Then she points two fingers at the pot and three Alstroemeria appear, their colors bright.]

[Maedhros is paranoid enough as it is that he already looks at most things around here with suspicion.]
[He watches the procedings with rapt attention. It reminds him of his home a bit, watching her make the flowers appear. Like something Yavanna would do.] Such an amazing gift you have! And such beautiful flowers.
no subject
Blushing at the praise, she pats the soil fondly.] I know how to make all sorts of flowers and herbs.
no subject
He gives her a reassuring smile] It is a wonderfull gift to have, I'd imagine.
no subject
Um... [She feels like she is tricking him by letting him assume this is just a gift she has.] I'm the daughter of the Flower Immortal.
no subject
[Wether it's a gift she's learned or one she was born with matters little to how he sees it.] Is that where your gift comes from?
no subject
Yes. In part, anyway. My father is the Water Immortal. I can make hail and rain.
no subject
Gifts that do well together I imagine. Flowers need rain after all.
