Has anyone gotten a love letter before? They seem to be long, don't you think? I like the imagery and the emotion, but when it feels like I'm reading a scroll, I can't remember all of it!

I don't know. Many Men see the Powers as Gods, and as far as I can tell have very little to do with them. But I grew up in Valinor, and watched as they set free their brother to wreck havoc on our family, and then abandoned Beleriand until... well. That's another story. Suffice it to say that I don't have the best opinion of them.

He is Lord of the Waters of Arda, and of all the Great Powers, he is the only one who did not abandon Middle-earth entire, even if he did not actively act.
