Greetings Nippon, I am Maedhros Fëanorion and I arrived sometime last month. If it would not be too much of an inconvenience I would ask for some assistance.

[Maedhros looks a bit sheepish before he explains himself.]

After a small... accident one of my brothers shirts were, well... destroyed for the lack of a better word. I'm not quite sure where to go to find a replacement for him and would be grateful for any help in the matter.

If we had left under different circumstances... perhaps she would have come with us?

[At least for a while, and if they left more peacefully who's to say they wouldn't be allowed to come and go as they pleased?]

I prefered those times to staying in Tirion. We were all so happy on those trips.

I miss how we were back then. Before everything became so complicated.

[He gives his brother a big smile.]

We were. Even if things were chaotic at times, we were still happy.

[His smile goes soft and fond.]

No. No I don't think I do. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had you as a brother.

I think you'd have been fine, Nelyo, but thank you. I will try and do my best not to disappoint you.

How could I have been fine without my most reasonable brother? I doubt there is anything you could do that would make me disappointed in you, Kano.

You are too kind to me, Nelyo, when I have failed you so badly in the past.

You've never failed me, Kano. At least I have never looked at it that way.

I left you there, Nelyo. What greater failure is there?

It was the right thing to do. I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if one of you had been captured trying to rescue me.

Fingon came for you. And I, your brother... I know I had to keep them safe, but it will always be a failure on my part.

[holdshisown]

And if you asked Fingon he'd tell you I wasn't to happy about the risk he took in doing so. I never held it against you, if anything the thought that you and the rest of our brothers were safe gave me a small measure of comfort during those days.

I don't know that I can ever forgive myself, Nelyo.

Then know that I forgive you fully for it, brother. In fact, I never blamed you for it at all.
