Heya everyone! Hope I'm not interrupting anything?

[Aerith appears with a bright smile and a strange question for everyone.

She'd been thinking about this for a little while now and had decided on a whim just to throw it out into the world and hope for the best!]

I was hoping to find someone who was handy with a sword to help me!

... Aaand maybe help me find one of my own. I used to have one. [A shake of her head and a laugh, remembering when that was...] You see, before here I was 'somewhere else'. I had a friend there, Nico, who was teaching me swordplay.

I've been thinking of picking that back up!

So I was just wondering, if anyone had any spare time, and a spare weapon, they'd be willing to pick up where Nico left off?

[Her laughter was as bright and cheery as that cloud of Wufei's, which Aerith found adorable. She couldn't remember ever seeing one of those aimed at her, she'd only seen the pink ones aimed at Duo! So she felt very flattered to have gained a cloud of her own.]

Then maybe we should one day? I hear tell from a little birdy you've been learning healing magic? I wonder if you could learn anything else..?

[pilot05]

I would be honored. Just let me know when you're ready to show me what you've got. [He smirks smugly at her, nodding a little.]

I mean, assuming you ever think you're good enough to beat me. [Once upon a time that might've been a sharp barb, but today it was lobbed with soft edges, a playful taunt.]

How about tomorrow? Are you free?

[She laughs some more then.]

I don't want to beat you, Wufei! That would be cruel. Do I seem cruel to you? [She batted her eyes at him, giving him her best innocent expression... which actually worked well for her, she really did look as sweet and innocent as she was pretending to me. If it wasn't for the smile trying to force its way onto her lips.]

I can clear my schedule. [He grins at her, because he doesn't really have anything planned much of the time, anyway.]

Do you think I am a fool? You may look sweet and innocent, but I have met vicious warriors who use exactly that sort of thing to their advantage. I will not be taken in by your feminine wiles!

[Aerith wasn't entirely sure if she should be offended or pleased by Wufei's words.

Why did people think that her looking sweet and innocent was a ruse? Had she done anything to make people think she was a vicious kind of person? Aerith thought she was nice! Maybe not nice enough? But still, it was actually nice to find that she wasn't being underestimated.

She let that smile blossom. Stopped forcing herself to seem more innocent than she was and laughed again.]

But Wufei? You already have!

[pilot05]

[Oh, he knew she was sweet and innocent on at least some level -- he just knew that it in no way indicated how strong she was.

And if they were playing with magic he knew she was easily his better. He laughed when she did, his yellow cloud going a bit sparkly.] Oh, have I? Then I suppose it's time you shock me with your skills.

[Aerith huffed and lifted her head, flipping her hair (or trying to) and looked away from the screen for a moment.]

I wouldn't want to embarrass you!

[She glances at the screen again and then grinned widely.]

But maybe I can come by later and show you a thing or two?

[pilot05]

[That got another laugh, along with a wide grin.] You're welcome to try. I'll make sure there's enough dinner for extra guests tonight.
