Same thing here. Is it common for scientists to give weapons to random refugees here? It feels like there should be a catch.

I am skilled with a sword, but this katana has a different balance to the sabers that I usually use.

Well, it's not normal where Kunwoo is from...

He's carrying the katana when he gets to the park and he looks for someone that seems to be looking for someone else. ]

[ He calls out when he sees the other, he might fit the bill... ]

[Jingyi spins around when he hears someone call. He sees the young man carrying a sword and quickly decides that has to be Kunwoo. He approaches and when they draw close enough, he bows to him.]

It's an honor to meet you face to face, Gan Kunwoo.

[ Kunwoo smiles at him, bowing in return. He takes in his dress and appearance curiously. ]

Nice to meet you too. Thank you for offering to help me.

[He's seen a couple people wearing the odd outfit Kunwoo is wearing, particularly his new gege. However, it's still a curiosity. How does one feel comfortable in that?]

You're welcome. It's wise of you to seek help when you're unfamiliar with a weapon. With a sword at your side, someone may assume you are skilled. Did the person who gave you the sword tell you its name?

I suppose that depends. You can certainly learn all the flourish and such. I'm a fan of flourish, myself. But at the end of the day, darling, the practical use is rather simple.

It seems like it'd be important to learn how to keep yourself from getting stabbed too.

I hate to have to break it to you darling, but you're almost as likely to cut yourself if you're not careful.

My own style of combat centers on the element of surprise, so ideally, no one has the opportunity to strike back. But it does happen, and it's difficult to walk away from a contest of blades without bleeding. Just so you're prepared for that eventuality.

I guess I do see how it's possible but I'd imagine it's possible to practice so it's less likely to happen.
