Maybe. Sometimes you're in the mood for one or the other. Or sometimes your partner's in the mood for something specific. Sometimes you both want the same thing, and then you kick the top bunk until the asshole has to get off to come after you.

I've slept on the ground, in alleys, in an abandoned subway, in an icicle lodge, various pieces of furniture... Gotta be open-minded about these things.

Alright, fair. I've slept in my fair share of nasty places. So I feel ya.

[Duo laughed at himself, it wasn't a common thing he heard around him these days, not many people knew his background. But even without that, there had been dozens of 'safe houses' in his career as a Gundam Pilot that had left much to be desired. So bad that he would have been more than happy to have slept out on the streets again.]

Lets just be glad this place is good enough to give housing. If the shit hits the fan, least we've somewhere to fall back on.

Almost suspiciously generous hosts, but I'm not gonna complain. Maybe they're just naive.

It's always healthy to be suspicious, Reno. Get you your city, make sure you're armed, if the shit hits the fan you're prepared.

[He and Wufei were part of that little city too, being neighbours with Aerith and Sephiroth due to Wufei's strange friendship with Sephiroth. But he and Wufei were happy with what they had here, they were enjoying their new life, but always ready for the other shoe to drop. Something was going to happen and when it did they'd be ready for it.

If this is all above board I don't mind takin advantage for a good life.

[Always possible. He doesn't know how feasible it would be to fight in their city within a city, but they weren't the types to go down without fighting if it came to it.
