[Yuchi Longyan is in the middle of a crowd. He looks around him, amused, taking in random conversations.

I did not know so many personalities could exist. Humans are truly like bright sparks.

[He steps out into the throng and takes his time, smiling sedately.]

I seem to have a knack for plants so it came naturally to me. But it's enjoyable and relaxing!

And the sword... Well, that would be a very long story. [She smiled, as charming and sweet as you like.] Lets just say I would like to be better able to defend myself in a pinch.

[Hold up.

You fly?

[longyan]

Are you human? [Or some sort of flower deity?] I have time to listen if you want to share it.

[He grins at a small child that toddles by.]

Oh well I suppose that makes sense.

[Longyan blinks and then laughs.]

Of course. I am a dragon.

Technically... not entirely. Where I come from, my people are called the Cetra. Ancients. Protectors of the Planet. Though... being the last one, all I can really do is grow flowers.

[Explaining who she was came easier now, since there was no real reason to hide it.

Currently she was home, sat in her living room, and with a twist she kicked up her feet up onto the sofa and curled herself into the corner with the magi-device held balanced on her knee. Aerith smiled.]

A dragon? I've met many kinds of people but never a dragon! That's amazing. Do you have wings or fly with magic?

[longyan]

Why are you the last? [That's worrying even if he knows nothing about her planet.] Did your people fail to procreate or was there another reason?

[His eyes lid and he proudly states:]

I don't need wings. My body is long, like a serpent, and I can glide through the clouds with ease.

They all died... or faded away. Or some believe they just... stopped being Cetra and became human, their ability to talk to the Planet lost over the centuries. Either way, I'm the last of them! Unless some are hiding somewhere.

[She shakes her head, as if tossing away the bad memories, and then laughs.]

I'm sure that's a wonderful sight!

So you can hear your planet? What about this one? I would be interested in what it has to say.

[Aerith, you are too cute. Longyan feels himself warming up to her.]

I could take you for a ride sometime?

In a way, yes. As for this one... not as much. It's more of a vague feeling here. It's an alien world after all. If it can talk to me then I don't know the language.

[Which was sad and was the same way with the last world she belonged to. She'd never been able to hear the words well enough.

Though her thoughts were immediately derailed by this new development. A VERY interesting offer! And one Aerith didn't even need to think about.]

I'd love that!! If it's no trouble? I've never flown before!

[Zoomed at the speed of light thanks to Sephiroth, sure. But never flying!]

Alien worlds must have a language of their own, you are correct. Action usually speaks louder than words anyway.

[So it's best if they keep their eyes and other senses open.

Longyan looks pleased that his suggestion is accepted!]

And this worlds actions are... somewhat chaotic.

[Aerith looked away for a moment but soon returned her attention back and smiled.]

Well you can fly, so why don't you pick me up? I'll send you the address!

[And she does just that, taking a moment to text over the address of where her home is in Tokyo.]
