[ The video starts off with a cat. A very fluffy cat with familiar ribbons where a cat's "side bangs" would be, and a familiar tiara-like ponytail… Said cat's fluffy tail is up as it is perched on someone she's comfortable with. As for said ‘comfortable someone’, all one can see of him is his midsection- a ribbed, sleeveless turtleneck top with his face out of shot. The focus of this was, after all, on the teeny fluffball. ]

Okay. We’re rolling.

[ Clearing her throat, which sounds like a cat trying to cough up a fur ball, she begins to speak: ]

Greetings. My name is Kamisato Ayaka, and as you can see, I have turned into a cat.

[ But because she is a cat? All one would be able to hear is her meowing at the camera. Literal "nya" and "meow" sounds, and no actual words being spoken. She… thinks people can understand her, because Cloud sure can. ]

Nya nya nya, nya nya nyanyanya, nya nya… [ She's talking about how this is probably Kizuna and asking if there is a way to reverse it as soon as possible because she has work to do… her ears fold inward and she "nyaa"s sadly. Out of shot, there’s a soft sigh before the magi-comm’s camera is angled up, leaving just the head of Nyayaka barely in frame as Cloud leans down a little to show up. ]

Right. That just about covers everything. [ covers what ] Anyone that’s got any ideas, thanks in advance.

[ The camera angles back down to Miss Kameowsato. ]

Nya.

[ Ever polite, Ayaka bows her head as thanks. ]

Think you got it, [ says an out of shot Cloud, hand coming down to gently pat her atop her floofy head before he reaches to stop the recording. ]

Have you tried using kizuna to fix the problem? Of course, I only know of it causing the problem...

[Not curing it and therein lied the issue. He put a hand to his chin in thought. He looked back at the camera.]

If you don't mind my prying, what were you two doing when the transformation occured?

[ One moment, please! Ayaka hops off Cloud's lap and off camera to get ink and paper. If she wrote with her claw...

She comes back a few seconds later and holds up a note with her mouth. The handwriting is... very neat for a cat.

Cloud does not have issues communicating with me.

How odd.

I woke up like this, you see. ]

Wow, such masterful control of those claws to even write with them! I must say, I am quite impressed. But I supposed it is the Kamisato way to be impressive.

[Kaeya, stop it.

That being said, he stopped with the teasing and hummed in thought.]

Just woke up like that? Were you, perhaps, cuddling a certain someone? Maybe even feeling comfortable and safe while doing so?

[He may look thoughtful and considering as he spoke, but there's a lilt to his voice that anyone could likely guess is a knowing one. He has a very good idea what happened.]

Nya.

[ O- Oh... she looks up at Cloud to see how he's doing, if he heard Kaeya and all, but... now she feels a little shy, retreating where she's perched on her beau until she's forced to sit down on his lap, close to his tummy.

All of what Kaeya said is true, but to admit it out loud to someone feels a little weird... She looks away momentarily, and if kittens could plush, Ayaka's cheeks would be super red right now.

Rather than deny it though, she nods slowly. There's no point in lying, even if she would prefer to keep what happens behind closed doors between her and Cloud. ]

[His small smile widened slightly into a grin. She didn't need to say a thing. He understood it all.

He couldn't help the chuckle.]

Aw, don't look like that. There's nothing to be ashamed of! It's likely just a sign of how strong your kizuna bond is. Which means it's temporary and likely to wear off on its own.

[ She at least has a feeling it's temporary, because it was with Aether! The boy went back to normal, albeit naked, after some time...

Has something like this happened to you before?

No, not to this extent anyway. I've been known to sport fox ears and a tail when around Diluc or cat ears and a tail around Venti. Not too often, but enough that it's more or less expected now.

[Kaeya has also figured out what actually triggered them, the aforementioned "comfortable and safe" part.]
