I have searched as best as I am able... {Which isn't a lot considering his current state.} I wish to order a pipa since mine was left behind. It will be some time before I am able to play again, but I don't expect it to be an easy project for a luthier.

For those who do not know, a pipa is a stringed instrument.

{He sends the address and grips the arms of his wheelchair expectantly. He might be able to walk! And to play... He wiggles the fingers of his broken arm and smiles.}

{That makes him jump! But then he smiles brightly, despite his bruises, upon recognizing his guest. A powerful guest! Nodding immediately, he sits up straighter.}

[Sweeping his sleeves to the side, the Immortal kneels before him and holds out his hands flat over him. Blue energy flows from him and soon the injuries are knitting together and bruises fading. He takes his time to make sure this is done right, eyes trailing over his body to make sure he misses nothing.]

{The action is shocking, but not painful (as promised). Sensation returns to parts that have been too swollen to be anything but numb. Xie lets out a breath, yet he remains motionless. Even with the injuries knit, he will need to learn to walk again.}

[The energies fade as he finishes, looking up at him.]

I've given you enough energy to be able to walk again. But your body and mind will need time to remember to move together. You will need to practice but you have the strength to do so.

{This gift... Xie closes his eyes tightly to avoid shedding tears. Then he rips off the cast on his arm and tests his flexibility. It's all there. Just weak.}

[Riding to his feet, he watches him.]

{Xie flushes and bows his head.}

I think my time is better spent that way.

[He looks at him then looks away. He's still getting used to people being so happy about him doing things like this and how good it feels.]

It is. You can call on me when you have the instrument and can play again.

I won't forget. {He hesitates.} You are welcome to call me Xie or Scorpion. What should I call you?

I am Xue Qianxun. I will remember your name, Xie.

[thescorpionking]

I am trying not to collect debts here. You are free of it in my eyes.

I can understand being free. Then I hope you count me as a friend and ally.

{Someone will surely notice his tie to the poor thing and demolish it.}

[He turns to look at him more at the mention of Xie's being in danger though.]

Why is there risk of it being in danger?

[He considers for a moment before giving a flick of his hand and summoning a small paper to his palm.]

Slide this inside of it. It will protect anyone from causing it violence of any kind.

{He takes the paper delicately and peers down at it.}

[He looks away again now. He's still getting used to this being a nice person thing.]
