[ That description... sounds an awful lot like Riley. Grey eyes look at Will curiously - Maglor remembers what Riley told him once, that he feared his own people, so he's careful, but polite ]

There are many folk here, and you might be lucky in finding the one you seek - but I will warn you that time is a little fluid, here. The one you seek may be here or may follow after, or may come from a different time. Are you friends then, of the person you are looking for?

[ Riley is under Elrond's care, and so under Maglor's, and he has no intention of letting any harm come to him ]

(( Riley has every reason to stay away from his own people, it's true. And Will knows exactly why.

But he's pleased to find so many who seem to care for Riley and his safety. It's only natural! He's such an easy-to-like fellow! And it's good to see that Riley's making friends and allies. He doesn't deserve to be alone just because the Fae are after him. ))

We are friends, yes. I only hope to find him well.

Are you? [ Maglor watches him and there is something very old, and very dangerous in his eyes - a sleeping predator ]

There is one here who matches your description. [ He says slowly ] One who is very dear to me and mine. He has little love for your people, and much to fear.

The Fae have not been kind to either of us. Less kind to him, in my opinion.

(( Yes, there is a darkness, perhaps even anger in him at the thought of the mistreatment, of the innocents who the Fae have harmed to hurt both of them. But it cools quickly. ))

I only wish to know that my friend is well.

[ Hm.

Maglor tips his head, accepting. ]

Riley lives with my fosterling Elrond, my brother Maedhros and I. [ He is under our protection, is clear even though unsaid ]

If he is who you seek, he is often found at the flowershop.

He is very dear to us all. [ Maglor hums, something softening with paternal fondness in his face ]

I'm not surprised to learn he's endeared himself to so many. I'm glad he hasn't been alone here.

He was young, and alone. Elrond misses his children. [ Maglor says simply ]

It has been good for both of them.

So it's a mutually beneficial relationship. That's good.

[ Something softens further, sweet and fond ]

He is a good lad, gentle and kind-hearted. It has been good for all of us. [ Maedhros has smiled again, as he has not for so long ]

[ Maglor's eyes sharpen again, the sea-fog burning away to steel-shine ]
