You could try camping in the forests. That's what I'm doing until I can a house of some kind.

There are a few options. Though usually you have to wait to be given a place that isn't one of the refugee places. Or stay with someone until you have a place of your own.

There's a storage shed at the back of my nursery that I can set up for you to have somewhere quiet to sleep. It's not a home but it gives you a chance to be go into the forests at the back of my property during the day. It could work until you can find a better situation for you.

Once one has sufficient coin there are plenty of places available for purchase, as I understand it.

Although in the various cities we can travel too, the weather can get quite bad. Have you anyone here you know? One option is to live together with friends or family to try and save on costs if the offered accomodation does not fit?

I don't know anyone, no. I'm not sure I would want to live with anyone even if I did. I, uh, I've spent the last few years living like a hermit. Being around people isn't very comfortable.

Well, I think you would be alright, so long as you were careful. The communicators at least mean that help is easily at hand at need.

[Oh look, another newcomer. Vennessa had not had an easy time on her arrival, having broken a window and escaped the NRL before they could react, so she does have some sympathy for those people who have rough landings.]

That depends on what you're looking for... there are options, though they are not all immediately accessible. I camped for a few months when I arrived as the crowds in the cities didn't agree with me but it isn't for the faint of heart.

Cities do not agree with me either. I am only worried about the weather.

A reasonable concern, it can get rather unpleasant at this time of year.

[She isn't going to outright recommend camping out in the winter, but if he's going to be insistent upon it...]

There are some caves, here and there, though you might have to deal with their current occupants. Or... if you can tolerate the apartments for a month or two, somewhere might open up for you to move to that's more to your tastes. I live in a little village in Wakayama. It's lovely here.
