A group of little girls visited the temple and left their mark on me. [Xingchen's hair is braided and flowers are tucked here and there. Clearly someone has a difficult time telling cute children no. Not that he has a reason to!]

What do you think of their work? [The orchids are certainly pretty and he wonders if he should put them in some water...? Or keep wearing them?]

(( Will's sure to arrive a little early. It's obvious from his heavy and layered clothing that even the slight autumn chill in the air is too much for him. He's in dark pants and boots with a heavy sweater over a turtleneck and a coat on top of that! But he keeps his eyes open for his new friend, occasionally getting distracted by the plants around him. ))

[Xingchen is in his white robes - they almost make him look like he is gliding rather than walking. The orchids in his hair are vibrant and he touches them softly to make sure they stay in place.]

(( He hasn't met a lot of the cultivators here yet so the robes are still a little striking to him. Very old-fashioned, beyond even his time. But they're very fitting for this ethereal man coming toward him. He smiles and gives a little wave in greeting. ))

[The wave has him smiling and he bows to Will politely, cupping his hands before him. Yes, he is old-fashioned, but being this way is comfortable for him. Xingchen may never adapt to being modern.]

(( Will nods his head in return. From what he's gathered, this place pulls people from many different worlds and times. He can hardly judge someone who isn't from a modern time for not being modern. That's just silly to expect! ))
