A group of little girls visited the temple and left their mark on me. [Xingchen's hair is braided and flowers are tucked here and there. Clearly someone has a difficult time telling cute children no. Not that he has a reason to!]

What do you think of their work? [The orchids are certainly pretty and he wonders if he should put them in some water...? Or keep wearing them?]

[He laughs softly at that.]

My garden and I will welcome you.

[The cats run by, happy and playing. Xingchen smiles softly and packs what he needs for the short journey.]

Shall I bring you a beast to protect your pretty flowers?

If a beast would like to visit as well then I won't mind.

[He knows what Xingchen means and he finds it sweet.]

Sying, leave your brother alone. Come here, sweetheart. [A smaller black and white cat hops into the basket he has ready for her.] We're going to see pretty flowers and I know you love them.

I look forward to seeing her and you both. I'll have tea ready for when you get here.

[Xingchen is on his way, orchids, kitty and all! He walks the distance - though he could have flown - but the weather is nice. When he arrives, he knocks while Sying meows.]

You have such a big voice. [No, she doesn't. She has a tiny voice, but it's sweet.]

[Gaura hears the knock from the garden and comes over. Recognizing the flowers and the clothes, he smiles.]

Xingchen. It's good to see you. And you too, Sying.

[Sying pokes her head out and mews at her name. Yes, that's her!]

She loves plants. Your garden will be like paradise for her.

You can let her down if you like. It's alright if she explores. There's a lot to see and the nursery is safe for her.

[And if she loves plants she should say hello to them.]

[Xingchen crouches down and lets the little cat out. She shakes her ears and then scampers eagerly into the greenery. Soon her head will be poking into blooms, sniffing.]

Thank you. She's a good girl. She won't eat anything.

I trust her. It's alright.

[He smiles after her then turns to Xingchen and waves for him to come toward a greenhouse filled with even more plants and a little table with tea on it. And where the table is? A wide variety of orchids.]

Oh. [Xingchen gasps in wonder over the orchids, beaming as he takes a seat at the table.] They come in so many colors! I had no idea.

They do. They prefer warmer weather too so I keep them in here where they'll thrive all year.

[He pours tea for them both.]

No wonder they look so happy. [Xingchen smiles at his friend.] I appreciate the tea.

I'm glad. I grew and dried it myself.

You are full of talents! [He sips the brew and sighs happily.] Have you thought about opening a shop?

People keep saying I should open a shop for different things... But I'm not sure I'd be any good at things like that when my skills are best here.

Why not have someone else handle the shop's day to day business while you see to the plants.

I suppose I could. I'd have to find someone who would want to...

I wouldn't mind helping, but I'm not very business savvy.

That is a given. I think your skills could be very popular given time.

I'm still getting used to the idea that I have skills that are so wanted honestly...

Embrace it. We are special in this world and our talents can be profitable.
