As promised, Vegas was behind the bar in one of his usual obnoxious shirts. He glanced over when the door opened and recognized the woman he's been talking to. Even with the weird desaturated color on the device's video function, he recognized her bright hair.

He nodded in greeting and stopped wiping the bar to turn for something behind it. He laid an unopened pack of cigarettes and a pack of matches with 'Pete's' written on it.

"Here ya go."

Yeah, usually the hair is the homing beacon, or her style of dress. Maggie stood out pretty much every where. There was a grin from her as she reached over to take the smokes. " Thank you so much." she said opening the pack and pulling out one and lighting it. " Yes, that's the st-- wait is this a no smoking place?" delayed.

Vegas waved a hand to dismiss the question and brought out an ashtray for her. "You're good. Smoke, drink, and be merrry."

" My type of place." she said bringing the smoke up to her lips to take a pull. " I owe you big time for this." so happy to just get that nicotine fix.

"Don't worry about it. Just get me a pack when you can." He's assuming she's new here. He hasn't seen her around on the network or anything before now.

Good assumption, in a normal situation Maggie would have a small stock of smokes, there were very few things she really takes joy in, and unfortunately smoking is one of them. " Don't worry, as soon as I am able I will repay you." she tilted her head " You're too pretty for me to leave hanging." and there it is, Maggie the flirt on the loose again.

"Don't sweat it. I'm good at finding people who owe me," he replied with a smirk. Besides, she literally just got here as far as he knew, he wasn't about to hound a newcomer before they even have a chance to get settled. And if she wanted to compliment him? That's totally good with him. Vegas' doesn't do much to hide his ego.

"You're welcome here even before you can pay me back. Always good to have a pretty woman at the bar."

" I somehow don't doubt it." she said offering a big grin. " A smart business man too. Perfect." she took a seat on one of the bar stools ashing her cigarette into the ashtray. " So, is Vegas your real name or a nick name?" she said taking a pull from her cigarette.

"It's very technically a nickname. But it's the only name I go by." He looked off, then decided to elaborate further. "In my culture, most people go by a nickname instead of their given name. That's just normal for us."

" I don't go by my given name either," she said with a little shrug. " Given names are over rated anyway I think, unless you have a really cool one, which is rare."

"Some people grow into their names." He didn't pick Vegas, but it's not his legal name either. "Others pick their own. Whatever makes 'em happy, I guess."

" Fair enough" she said taking another pull from her cigarette. " So aside from running the bar here, what do you do around here?" she asked looking to him with her head canted to the side.

"Shady shit, mostly," he offered blandly. In truth, other than killing a few people who rightly deserved it, he wasn't actually doing that much in terms of shady or illegal. "If I told you, I might have to kill you."

" Sounds kinky." she said with out missing a beat,wiggling her eye brows. Really she had very little that would put her off at all. As far as she was concerned people had to do what they had to do to live life on their own terms.

"It's really not." It was messy work, but the family could count on Vegas and Pete to handle it. Thankfully, they've gotten enough ties in the community that people won't come after them unless they're incredibly stupid.
