Okay. Fuck, FUCK. I just got dumped some memories like a few other people here and I think I might need to let off some steam somehow?

Some of my friends fucked up, I'm not really holding it against them because they don't know shit about politics, we took a few more risks than we really anticipated and now I'm pretty sure we're super close to some sort of weird international incident back home.

All because SOME ASSHOLE decided to have a weird doll obsession, and not in the normal way, in the "the dolls were actually people" kind of way.

I guess you guys could offer advice, but other than "cry a lot", I'm not sure if I could take it.

This was definitely transmutation magic, which...okay, you know how there's monsters that can turn people into stone?

Now imagine that, but turning people into porcelain dolls that you then dress in frilly outfits.

Ah... Well, then couldn't you just dispel the magic and they're turn back to normal? I suppose I don't really know how real magic works.

Everyone started vomiting blood, so turns out some other stuff was done to them? Apparently whatever damage you have done to you while you're petrified carries over once you're made of meat again.

We found a guy who got turned to stone once and had to leave him since he got turned into a fountain? So he had all this tubing and stuff in him and we were pretty sure he'd die as soon as he got turned back.

[On the one hand this is cool and interesting to him. Magic mechanics! Neat!!! Makes sense.]

Well that's no good then. Maybe you could ask the NRL Scientists about it? I guess the time stuff they're dealing with is more loops than travel but... If you could figure out a way to go back to before they were turned to stone?

Guess it's worth a shot. Fuck, some of the girls who were there had apparently been trapped for decades.

Wow. Even if there was a way to reverse it now I wonder if death wouldn't be better for those girls.

It really seemed like Cordy needed it, and Kokoro knew while they might not get eaten or drank, at least it was the thought that counted. She left her apartment door open, just so Cordy wouldn't have to worry about knocking. Besides, the cool air was nice.]

Anyway, my friends tried to fake kidnap me because my mom has been real cagey about information that could maybe save some people's lives or whatever, but we kinda bit off more than we could chew.

And we ended up staying with a guy who totally kidnaps girls and turns them into weird transmuted flesh dolls.

[Kokoro smooths a hand over Concordia's head and nods. She doesn't get that, exactly, but there are plenty of stories of haunted dolls with human spirits, so maybe it's the same? Spooky.]

Serves the fucker right, he was like, old enough to be most of those girls' dad.

Sounds like one of those urban legends. There were a lot of them where I went to school. Like the doll that would follow you home and then strangle you at 3AM if you didn't leave amazake out for it.

Did... your friends make it out OK, though?
