I just arrived myself and I'm still trying to recover from the effects of that and I'm pretty sure this isn't a 'clothing optional' friendly nation.

So how is a fellow newbie finding the place? Anything of note that they didn't tell us about in orientation?

I don't really know. I missed orientation, a bit. What I've been learning has been organic, for the most part. People get animal traits slapped on them after a time. The majority of them don't seem to mind it. Whether it's simple acceptance on their part or a kind of brainwashing due to the magic, I don't know.

And that's the part I'm concerned about. If the magic here decides I'm ripe for a DNA makeover, how am I going to handle it?

I'm not a skeptic at all.

I had a super high fever when I arrived. I was unconscious for two days before I woke up and not every nerve is on fire. This happens every time magic not my own or my immediate family's is pointed at me. It was magic that brought us here. How well did you avoid that?
