(( Remember this guy who, a mere few weeks ago was so bright-eyed and eager to be in Nippon? Yeah, all that's gone now. He manages a smile that doesn't reach his eyes and even a little wave in greeting to anyone watching this video. Whatever's going on, it's clear that his honeymoon phase with this world is over. ))

This place is abysmal. I thought it was me, that I had just lost feeling because it was so cold out. But nooOOOOoo, I have to catch one of these damn curses! How long do these things last?!

(( The face on screen is a young man's with bright eyes and dark curls. Excitement shines through his expression. There's no trace of confusion, only a bubbly sort of eagerness that creeps from his look to his soft voice. ))

I do hope I'm using this correctly. We haven't such devices in my world.

(( How easily he accepts this new world in which he finds himself. It isn't the first time Silver's found himself in a strange land. At least this one resembles home in the most basic of ways. Other than this device, much of the technology he's seen thus far seems the same. ))

It is my understanding that magic fuels this place. I would be much obliged if anyone would be willing to sit with me and discuss your experiences since you've been here.

(( He pauses abruptly, looking somewhat abashed. ))

Ah, forgive me for getting ahead of myself. This is all so exciting! My name is Silver, Henry Silver, and I am a folklorist. I study the magical and marvelous in my world and I hope to do the same now that I'm here. It's always best to play to one's strengths, is it not?

(( Another pause, and the giddy smile returns to his face. ))

[ He's sitting outside, completely comfortable, and stretched out. Though, his eyes seem almost black in color and bright. Not that he's noticed it. Why would he? It's not like he looks in the mirror to stare at himself. ]

This place still, to a point, throws me off when things just randomly show up. I might have to take a few people close to me out and just enjoy the sights and food.

[ There's a smile out of the chaotic boy. ]

Does anyone have a favorite place they'd recommend? Myself and my didi have been to a few different places around the city.

[For those familiar with Jiang Feng? Well, Wuque looks like an exact clone of him as he figures out how to turn on the video. For awhile he's been keeping to himself but this post... It's confusing to him honestly and he feels the best thing to do is to reach out to talk to people about it.]

I wish to apologize for my ignorance in advance. However the recent...post? I'm not sure I fully understand what it is trying to say.

(( The sepia-toned face on the screen is that of a person lovely enough to be a woman. Well, perhaps less lovely for the severe (read: cranky) look carved into those delicate features. His lips are downturned and a deep crease resides between his brows. His long black hair is tied back in a topknot with braids worked throughout. The robes he wears speak of an older time, perhaps they're a distant cousin to the kimono he's seen so much since arriving.

There's a moment of silence before he finally speaks, a natural tenor though he tries to keep the pitch lower. ))

I understand we're encouraged to form bonds in this strange place. How fare those who choose not to?

[Despite showing up in this place and finding out that someone, who wanted to kill him, is also his brother, he's all smiles. That smile isn't bound to go away either.

He's actually out in a park because he prefers nature over the buildings, for the most part.]

So, how do you all handle the time lapses? That is what they are, right? One of you can be from one point while another from another point.
