[Despite showing up in this place and finding out that someone, who wanted to kill him, is also his brother, he's all smiles. That smile isn't bound to go away either.

He's actually out in a park because he prefers nature over the buildings, for the most part.]

So, how do you all handle the time lapses? That is what they are, right? One of you can be from one point while another from another point.

One can live without ears, you know. Though, I doubt it would be pleasant.

I'm nineteen. I've often had to act older.

[ Is that what all of this was about? Then again, he doesn't really pay attention to age. ]

[He can't really take a parental role with an eighteen year old. Nor can he be a teacher.]

It isn't much. But we can take care of each other. We can be friends?

[ Taking on a parental role might be stepping on toes, anyway. ]

I've never known anyone to thank someone for being friends with them.

[ There's a half smile out of Xiaoyu and he shakes his head. ]

Wine? [He walks back to the kitchen and finds a bottle. Unopened. He had been meaning to use it for medicinal purposes, but he could get another. Pouring Xiaoyu a cup, he returns and holds it out.] I have some.

What I grew up drinking the most, not that there's anything wrong with tea. It can be good for some occasions.

[ It wasn't that tea wasn't good, it just wasn't his preference. He does, however, take the cup from Xingchen and takes in the scent of it before taking a drink of it. ]
