[He's taken a few days before coming to this network, mainly observing and getting a feel for it. But now, he wants to try it. So here Runyu is, sitting in his room before a low table with some tea before him. Compared to a few days ago, he doesn't look nearly as regal, his white robes simple despite their numerous layers.

He offers the view a smile, nodding his head politely.]

Greetings. My name is Runyu.

I wanted to start off by saying that I'm grateful to all those who took care of me when I arrived here. With such friendly faces it was rather easy to settle in. Thank you to those I have met so far.

[He might be confused as to how he's being kept here but he appreciates everyone regardless.]

Though, I have noticed that one can find themselves alone a good deal if they lack those from home here. I'm curious to know how people handle this here. What have you done to occupy yourselves? Not everyone is so used to the feeling of isolation so I wouldn't mind learning what you have come up with. It could be interesting.

Will you? I wonder if that will work. I confess I don't have an easy time sleeping actually.

If you wanted to try, we could. If that doesn't work then I'm sure Xingchen would have teas that might help.

[ He'd had some that dealt with pain, after all. ]

So you two will work together to help me sleep? Tea and gentle music.

I'm not sure what I've done to have earned this care.

All I would have to do is tell Xingchen you needed help to rest and he would help. So, yes. Tea and gentle music.

Whether you know what you have or have not done, you have it.

[He just met this man and already he rushes to aid him. They've sworn to aid each other and now this. It almost doesn't seem real but here they are.]

I've always struggled with rest honestly. There were times I would just try to nap wherever I could simply because I didn't have the time for it.

Here I suddenly have the time for it but my mind races.

[ The first time Xingchen offered him help... Mingye had thought the other was doing it for ill purposes. His father has his views pretty skewed. So, trusting had not come easy. It still wasn't that easy, but he doesn't think everyone has other intentions when offering friendships. ]

Perhaps I should play for you? To see if it helps ease your racing mind.

Now? I wouldn't mind hearing you play.

Yes, now. Unless, of course, you have pressing matters.

[dragonrising]

[There's a smile on his lips and then he shakes his head.]

No. I have nothing else to attend to. Would you like to come here?

[reliesondirtytricks]

[ Those eyes watch him and he much rather likes Runyu's smile. ]

I can come to you. It would be easier than you finding a random tree.

[dragonrising]

[Softly, he laughs and nods his head.]

You are right about that. Very well. You are welcome to come in when you get here.

[And he gives him address.]

Now, he calls for danger.

[ There's a tease there even as he jumps down from his tree. ]

I will see you soon, then.

If it is danger I invite then my life will be very exciting soon.

[He nods to let him know he will see him soon then ends the call so he can prepare tea for them both.]
