[ As expected, Kokoro does indeed stand taller than a lot of the native people here. She dresses with a significantly less amount of clothing than one might wear in the middle of winter, and the only concession to the cold is a hat. The rest is really too much to wear for her. She brightens up and waves back.]

Cats are adorable, but they usually don't like me much... But one of the scientists here came up with a device that makes animals more friendly, so I've gotten to pet some!

Cats really are adorable. We have a surprising amount on my school campus at home... but I'm pretty sure that's because the principal keeps feeding them. [She grins.]

If you don't mind me asking, how do you... eat? I mean, I guess you don't, but do you miss eating?

Well, I don't have any sense of taste anymore... But it's been a long time since I did, so I don't miss it as much anymore. It's hard to remember what tasting things was like.

That's so upsetting. I don't eat a lot of things because I'm vegetarian, so I get it for like meat and stuff, but not even fruit? That's awful.

I-it isn't that bad. If I was going to lose any of my senses, taste is the one that matters the least, so it's fine?

But taste is connected to smell. I guess if you don't eat then it doesn't matter, but it's so sad!
