Good evening. I had a question I thought I'd like to present to you all. A curiosity really.

How many of you are familiar with those known as Immortals? It is alright if you only know of them through stories or myths. Largely I'm just wondering how much is known of them. What you know of them.

Whatever you wish to share, I will listen to. Thank you.

I was actually aware of how Immortality could be achieved as well as what cultivation is. My curiosity was answered when you told me that it seems only mortal cultivators can become Immortals in your world.

If Immortal cultivators were asking about immortality, that would be an achievement through dumb luck.

Seems? It is a truth where I am from.

The next question may be where are you from?

Me? The Heavenly Realm.

[He says it simply. Normally he doesn't drop such information so readily. Or the next but this one is cute so he can't help himself.]

I am the Immortal Emperor.

I've never heard of such a thing!

[he scoffs. He's not cute!]

We try to not interfere with mortal lives and to simply keep the natural world continuing. Mortals are meant to live as fate has decided.

It is against the law for us to step in. For that reason, we tend to remain in our Realms.

Do you think it is the Immortals in the Immortal Realm who dragged us all here or something else?

Why would I believe that when I've just said that it breaks the law? An odd question when we just established this.

I did say I come from the Heavenly Realm though. Cute though you are there is no need to be so suspicious or insulting.

The Celestial Palaces from your realm. Not this realm. Not my realm. And just because you may follow the law, doesn't mean that your equals do. After all, where there is good, there is also evil.

And considering I've been ripped away from my sect and thrown into this mis-mash of life and death, I feel I'm entitled to be a little suspicious.

[And a lot insulting. ]

I am the Emperor of the Heavenly Realm. I am tasked with seeing that the laws of my entire realm are obeyed and that peace is kept between the realms. They are good people there to uphold the natural order as they have for thousands of years.

You hurl insults like you are the only one torn from duty and home. I have been dragged here against my will. I am alone, I have no power to return, I am prisoner as much as you are. My people need me there yet here I am.

You are entitled to no injury against your fellow prisoner. My inquiry was born of curiosity alone. I know mortals here who understand that well and will not cling to childish notions of insult to try to feel better. Turn your gaze to those who keep us here rather than those equally trapped.

[To his credit, he remains steadfast. He might have more sense of self preservation were they in person.]

We are not from completely different cloths then. My own curiosity is met with aggression?

I commend you for not imprisoning others in your realm. If the Immortals here do not follow your moral standing, then my question still holds true. So my query of whether you, as an Immortal, would have an opinion about the others native here is just as innocent as your question asking what mortals know about immortals.

This is not aggression. Though our clothes are very different. You would be on the ground were this aggression.

You are still very young, barely an infant compared to my age, and likely have a role of great importance. But that does not give you the right to approach others like they are beneath you and insult them. If you have questions then I will answer them. If you will cast aside arrogance and approach politely.

My mistake then. I think my questions would be better met with people my own age. Luck to you, finding a way out of this hole.

Your questions would be better met were you to look past yourself. I do not know your title, your name, or your history. But I would have gladly talked to you if you had respected others around you.

Know that there are no Immortals that belong to this realm though. Living forever is not what makes us who we are. When you learn to settle yourself, your core will achieve that.

I have no reason to live forever.

This one can only hope the next life will be a little more forgiving.

[A cultivator who has given up. He feels sorry this man's sect. Still, they are the only ones he feels sorry for. With a personality like this he has a feeling that this man has been given great amounts of kindness but blinds himself to them in favor of anything that has gone wrong.

When the transmission ends, extremely rudely actually, he shakes his head. This child truly knows nothing.]
