[daeshim's mouth is set in a serious, almost grim line. but in his eyes, there's a curious light.

...and in his purple hair, a leaf. that looks like it hasn't seen a brush in a couple of days.]

People ask a lot of questions here. I also have a question:

Which would you pay more for, sex or a kiss?

I would say they were beyond valuable, they are priceless.

[Aerith gives a gentle smile, a little tilt of her head, concern in her green-eyed gaze.]

Why is this bothering you so? Is someone attempting to buy those things from you?

[faeshim]

[daeshim stares at her, his expression unchanging except for a soft blink that might be more telling than he realizes. she's pretty. more importantly, there seems to be a kindness about her too.]

It's bothering me because...I think kisses are better. If I had to pay for one or the other, I would buy kisses all day.

Only there's someone I know who disagrees. And maybe he wouldn't sell me a kiss.

[Her smile gentles as she gives a thoughtful nod.]

Well, this is just my opinion, but kisses bought are not worth much at all. Kisses given freely are worth their weight in gold.

But I do agree with you. I have a feeling I would be happy to kiss someone I love all day, every day. I would never tire of that. I do think they are better. So... [There's a grin now, big and bright.] You have at least one person who agrees with you, which proves your friend wrong!

I knew it...I knew it.

[the corners of his lips do threaten to tug up into a smile at that.]

It's nice. It feels nice. Not just against the mouth, but here too. [he presses a hand against his chest.] I didn't feel anything in there for a long time. It was like a burned-down forest until I found out about kissing.

[Now wasn't that just the sweetest of things? Though sad in it's way, that this man had caught feelings from a kiss was adorable to Aerith and that bright smile of hers continued.

She pressed a hand to her own chest, tapping two fingers over her heart.]

This is where feelings live, so of course it would feel nice here when you kiss someone you like. You won't get the same from kissing someone you don't.

[Admittedly, making love to someone would also bring feelings, but kissing was so much more precious. And was something that could be shared anywhere or at any time. So long as it was with that special someone.]

[faeshim]

[when she says that it's not the same to kiss someone that you don't like, daeshim believes her. he's still a little new to all of it, feelings included. but he's been lucky that it all happened with the people that it's happened with. they were good, and gentle, and it's a little bit of a struggle for him to realize that not all the world is that way, or even wants it to be.]

Is there anyone that you like kissing?

[because he's nosy. and she definitely deserves nice kisses. and he's nosy.]

There was... [Aerith's smile took on a sad edge, if just for a moment.]

He... well, he passed away. But for a time I did like to kiss him.

[faeshim]

No.

That's not how it's supposed to go.

I know. But sometimes these things are out of our hands... sometimes they are taken out of our hands.

[She looked a little sad, if only for having burst his bubble. Aerith hadn't meant to upset him at all.]

[he has to do something about this. he must.]

[Her laugh is bright, her smile warm, she looks very happy at the offer for some reason.]
